  Hardware store made four keys none of them worked, returned them went to Minute Key at Lowe's had four keys made and they all worked perfectly. As a property manager Minute Key will be my first stop for keys next time.

  I thought the machine worked great but it needs to be more clear on how to operate it. I had 3 keys to make and the sign said buy 2 keys get 1 free so I put my first key in and selected that option and swiped my credit card and started the process. What the instructions didn't specify was that the buy 2 keys get one free was for the same key! So I got 3 of the same key! (with 2 of those key being specialty keys and the free one a plain brass key) I then had to purchase 2 more individual keys for the other 2 keys I needed. It ended up costing me over twice as much because the instructions weren't clear. I make dozens of keys all the time and wasn't to happy about my experience. If I got a refund for my over payment I would use the machine again but Home Depot said they couldn't refund me for the keys. Very frustrating! To be fair I will add that the keys worked perfectly the instructions just need to explain things better. UPDATE : I contacted the company and they refunded the cost of the extra keys and made everything right. I updated my review to 4 stars only because they need to change the wording on the buy 2 get one free keys to include that it pertains to a single key with 3 duplicates. If they do that I would give them 5 stars
