  It was late Saturday afternoon when my house door latch broke and I was unable to get in. The person I spoke to on the phone seemed to be having a hard time understanding that I had a deadbolt that was locked on a different door than the door that had the latch broken but the deadbolt unlocked. He started to drill out the good deadbolt. After I stopped him he was able to Jimmy the broken latch to get me in. The tech that came out was pretty young and, since he called someone a few times, I suspect he was an apprentice. After about an hour of work I was charged $430. While I'm glad I got in, that amount seems exorbitant. I would not recommend this company to anyone. On 12/11 I received a call from Minute Key. Patrice was very kind and offered a refund of $100. Considering I didn't expect to get any satisfaction, I commend Minute Key for being so responsive to my concern. I was told I would receive that refund soon. At that time I will update this edit and my rating. I did receive my refund about a week after the call. Because of their responsiveness I changed my rating to a three. The whole cost thing should not have happened though.

  Needed a key quickly. This kiosk was speedy and easy to use. Had a new key that actually worked.
