  After having 3 keys made at another box store by two associates and none of them worked I decided to try the kiosk key maker at Lowes. Each of the three keys worked and it was cheaper!!! Very happy with the quality, selection and ease of use.

  I paid over $3 for a new key and it doesn't even work. I'll be returning the product but that's very inconvenient

  After 8 failed keys at two different hardware stores, I ended up with 6 perfect keys using Minute Key at my local Lowes store.

  Never used automated key making service prior to this. Having teenage grandkid along sped up the process. Key blanks are pricey and I needed 2 sets of 2 keys. However, receiving a 3rd key free for each set made it more reasonably priced. I later found out that had I had a store employee cut me keys in store in the traditional manner, it would have cost approximately $1.25 less per key for the four keys I paid for. The automated process was relatively quick and you pay at the machine, so stop and go pretty quick with this located at the front of the store.
