- JRJennifer RatcliffeJul 4, 20215.0I was unable to find a locally owned locksmith who made keys, so I had to go to Lowe's where I found Minute Key/Key Hero. Yes, Lowe's employees also make keys, but waiting for someone to do that task often takes more time than I am willing to spend. I've used Minute Key/Key Hero in the past. It does the job. I needed 5-keys made, which does take a while. During the process it asks if I want a "brass" key made for $1.49....I bit, and got bitten. The keys that were being made WERE brass, so the $1.49 I spent on the "special brass" key was more money in their pocket; now I have 6-keys to my business. Lesson Learned. Key Hero saves a digital copy of keys, so if the key is ever lost (I have 6...just sayin')...the machine will make you a copy. I don't know how, but I have the app on my phone and hopefully never have to use it.....6-Keys later :oD Overall, Minute Key/Key Hero work....but with no personality.....Jenn
