- RRRick RineerDec 19, 20235.0Bought 2 keys and one free, looked good, however all three fail at the door. Went back to Lowes in traverse city michigan and they found all three blanks were 1/16 inch short and missed the last tumbler. I have three junk blanks and out $9. Not sure who is to blame but it is not me. I modify my previous response to say the following. The machine worked perfectly. Great cut, fast service, and good price. Nothing that Minute Key machine or their owner did wrong. I did return to the store and the help desk verified that the key was copied correctly, however, the blank was short and missed the last tumbler cut. They, as I did, made sure the key was fully inserted into the slot when copied. No real harm, and no real fail. Things happen. I can afford to move and hope that Minute Key can too. Quick, efficient and I didn't have to wait to find an overworked associate to cut the keys. All of the keys worked the first time!!! Will definitely be using the Minute Key service again!!
