I ordered 2 keys at $5 and $4 dollars from the kiosk that seemed a little expensive. But after I ordered those two, I was offered a free key and then another key at $1.49 which made them all cost the same as the keys from Home Depot. They all worked to open the doors but it was very hard. I think they needed to be filed a little more. There were rough edges. I was overall very pleased with the kiosk.

I was on my lunch hour when my car key broke. I needed it fixed immediately since I had to go back to work. I called minuteKey and spoke to a representative who informed me that a lock Smith in my area would call soon. I asked her what soon meant...5 minutes or 30 minutes but was hung up on before I finished the question. As I was on my lunch break and needed it fixed immediately I decided to drive to a local lock Smith who could fix it in 5 mins. On my way over I received a call from the minuteKey lock smith asking if I still needed assistance and I kindly said I was in a rush so would be going somewhere else and he said It was not a problem and to have a good day. 30 minutes later some guy from the company said I needed to pay a $35 cancellation fee that neither the representative or the lock smith informed me of! I told him I was never told about the fee and if the lock smith would have informed me that cancelling with him would mean paying $35 I would have stayed with him. The guy didn’t care and rushed to take my money then hung up. Even my coworker sitting next to me during the call thought that was ridiculous and asked for the name of the company so that she would not have to do business with them in the future.
