We offer high-quality education to elementary, middle, and high school students, grades K–12, with an engaging curriculum. Our flexible online public-school program is an alternative to online homeschool, charter school, and private school, that ensures each student maximizes his or her potential. Across Minnesota, we serve all locations, from Minneapolis to St. Paul and Rochester to Bloomington and beyond. Minnesota Connections Academy is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA CASI), an accrediting division of Cognia.

- MTMaddie T.Apr 26, 20215.0In my opinion, MNCA is absolutely amazing. I should start off by saying that this school isn't for everyone. I am an extrovert, and the most common question I get asked is how I stay social at an online school. I always say, you get out of it what you put into it! The more you reach out to your teachers and friends, the more you take that initiative, that decides how social you'll be or not, and how good of a relationship you'll have with your teachers and friends. I can now move on to say how AMAZING the teachers are. They truly want what's best for you and are always there to help. (They are the reason why we stay at MNCA!) Since they aren't there every second of everyday, you do have to reach out since they don't know if you're struggling if you don't tell them! I highly HIGHLY recommend attending the LiveLessons each day, as this gives you a chance to learn with your peers and interact with your teachers. All the teachers are SO kind and I cannot say enough about them. I'm not gonna lie, I would prefer each lesson to have more videos and interactive presentations and stuff, since reading gets tiring sometimes, but they have plenty of fun activities to make each lesson for each subject engaging. Apart from school, there are plenty of clubs and activities for you to partake in (I'm on Student Council, in National Honors Society, and there are sooo many other clubs to do...even small ones like the Horse and Pony Club lol) and field trips at our home office in St. Paul (pre and post COVID)! I cannot say enough about how amazing this school is - this is my 3rd year and my sister graduated last year. It is a must try!!! And hey, if it doesn't work out, don't worry! At least you gave it a try! And as a student here myself, thank you to all my teachers and all of the staff who are making me into the person that I want to become. This is the best school ever, and I'm so proud to be apart of it. Thank you!!!! :)
- TTTong ThaoFeb 10, 20205.0Love this school. I had 3 kids enrolled. All the teachers are so helpful. There are revisions/extra credit for better grades. 2 are still enrolled. If I had this opportunity back in my school age era, id totally graduated on time. Thanks to MN CONNECTIONS ACADEMY and their staffs helping children all around the state.
