  We stopped here to get dinner after a long drive down 32. Famished doesn't begin to describe the way we were feeling. As soon as we came in greeted warmly, requested a booth and they accommodated us. Beautiful, clean bathroom as well. Seated ordered drinks and the app sampler. Shoo we was the sampler scrumptious, filling as well. We ordered small entree of the mac and cheese bake with glazed shrimp. We were full so we got a box not before the shrimp was gone, wife said delicious and half the mac. Words fail me in describing how amazing it tastes. If you never tried it stop what you are doing, drive there and eat. We will return. Service was beyond exceptional. The entire was cordial and quick. Great food, great service what more could you want? P.S. They have warm corn bread muffins as a free starter. The Cool Spot used to have best corn bread but Millstone tops them. Corn bread so moist you'd swear you were eating cake.

  Had lunch here on a Saturday with a friend. Atmosphere was nice but the server would come to our table and stare at us for a few seconds and when we stared back she would finally say something or ask for our order, like we should read her mind. The onion straws and corn bread we had were great! However, ordered the Mac and cheese dinner, it came and was just a block of noodles congealed with cheese, not creamy, bread crumbs was just pieces of white bread crumbled at the bottom, and the brisket that came on it was tough and dry. The salad that came with the meal was brown and wilted, and I was not able to eat it. The lettuce that came on my friend’s burger was also brown and wilted. Money not well spent. Please, save yourself the hassle and just eat elsewhere.

  We’ve been in Hocking Hills so many times and this was our first time here. We were very disappointed. The food was underwhelming. My husband got the sampler platter. Best thing was the sausage. No smoky flavor. Everything else was dry and very little flavor. The baked potato and beans were fine. I had the ribeye steak. I’m a stickler when it comes to my steaks so I hesitated to order it. When I asked the waitress how was the steak and the burgers, she said both good. I beg to differ. They did cook it to my liking though. The fat on the steak was so much I basically had to cut around the entire steak to get to the meat. And I like steak fat. My sweet potato was good. The Cole slaw was not good either. Basically no flavor and just a bunch of crunchy cabbage. There are just a few decent restaurants down there, and unfortunately this is not one of them.

  We were out on a drive and were excited to try it. We planned our drive so we could eat there after checking out what places would be available to us. We got seated and were able to place our order. I was hungry for ribs so I ordered the full slab thinking that I would take half home. We got our order.. Food was cold. The ribs were dry and tasteless - they absolutely were cooked a couple of days ago. So tough I could not cut them with a knife. I tried eating with my hands - after a while I quit. I called the server over - it was in no way a reflection on her - I asked that she take the full slab off my bill because I barely ate any of them and definitely was not going to take them home. She talked to her manager and they took the ribs off my bill. That was nice of them and I appreciated it. Probably will not go back.

  We got food to go and really enjoyed the mashed potatoes. The outdoor seating and yard is a really nice touch. The service for takeout was okay. I think folks may be somewhat overwhelmed or overworked, which is normal for a place with lots of tourism on a holiday weekend. There were lots of tables that hadn’t been bused, and when I asked for a drink at the bar, the person working the bar said someone else would do it. So maybe it was a bad time. Definitely worth checking out, though.
