I stayed at the Millennium this past Friday (November 24th) just for one night - I was in town for the 5k.
When I arrived at the hotel around 4pm the WIFI was down, the front desk staff was having to check people in manually. People standing in the line were being extremely rude and inpatient. One couple was calling the male manager names and swearing. It was completely out of line - HOWEVER, the staff remained calm, respectful and continued working their butts off to get people checked in. showed them to their rooms and managed through without internet. The WIFI was back on within the hour. The two workers in the lounge were fabulous as well!
I would recommend anyone visiting Nashville who doesn't mind not being right downtown to stay here! Great outdoor pool to use as well.
I hope one of the rude customers from Friday go on here to leave a negative review and think twice. The front desk staff that you were horrible to didn't plan for the internet to go out that day, how could they? Do you think they were having a good time having to scramble around while dealing with arrogant and immature costumers yelling at them? Nope!
It wasn't their fault, and they were handling a situation the best they could. I truly hope no one ever treats or talks to you the way you did to them when you are having a bad day at work.

Tldr: would not stay here again.
The good:
staff was helpful and kind and knowledgeable.
Check in and out was easy.
The ac unit kept the room nice and cool.
There was a fridge and microwave in the room (although the fridge was rusted through on the bottom)
The view we had was very pretty
There is a shuttle that runs every 30 mins to and from broadway
The bad:
The breakfast was the worst offender in a slew of disappointments. It was $22 daily and that was not optional. For $22 my spouse and I could have had a much nicer breakfast literally anywhere else.
Breakfast consisted of:
Vanilla yogurt
Strawberry yogurt
Granola (but basically lightly sweet rolled oats)
Waffles (only 2 stations so there was almost always a long wait) with only pancake syrup and butter for toppings
Cereal that no one touched and was incredibly stale
Cut up fruit that varied but was always under ripe and hard and tasteless
Toast and bagels (which would run out of cream cheese by 7am)
We only had a protein (hard boiled eggs, not bad) one of the days.
There was nothing you could take with you on the go. Yogurt was in buckets.
I didn't expect much, but I was expecting a protein of any sort daily.
The juice was so watered down the apple juice was clear. The coffee at Maxwell House (a coffee brand mind you) was so horrible and burnt tasting and not able to be covered by their room temp milk and creamer.
The hotel is dingy and Dark and incredibly outdated.
The toilet made a screeching noise that lasted minutes every time it was flushed.
The tub had obvious rust spots and I didn't feel clean using it. I was worried that the bottom would break through with the obvious depression covered with a sticker of sorts. Especially with the shower head being neck height and having to stoop to use it. I'm 5'4" for reference.

Edit: in response to the hotel responding to the review.
It is not complimentary if it is a compulsory fee. I would not have used the shuttle, I would not have eaten the breakfast (the sad version it was), if I could have saved almost $100 for my stay. That would have covered a decent breakfast literally anywhere else for 2 and parking.

This is a 3 star hotel at best. The rooms were clean enough, but the floors in the common areas were gross, stained and filthy. There are refrigerators in each room, but if you want a mi
They have a shuttle that runs every 30 min to and from Broadway which is convenient. They also offer breakfast which consisted of waffles, toast, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt.
Don't be fooled by the pics on their website, this may have been a great hotel 30 years ago, but now it's a no frills, unkempt, cheap hotel.
I want to start this off by saying that the hotel staff and service are great but our room not so much. My mother and I traveled to Nashville for a concert and had booked this hotel for the night of. After the concert we had come back to the room and I see 4 roaches crawl across the wall. Obviously I am disgusted and totally freaked out, so we go down to the lobby and request a new room and the staff was very accommodating and gave us a new room. Reading through the reviews now I saw one that said beware 722 has roaches, low and behold that was the room we were in. If you plan on staying at this hotel I would say that the staff is great but the rooms definitely need updating and some deep, deep cleaning. There were stains on the furniture, carpet was stained, and the bathroom was nasty. Overall great service and thankful they gave us a new room.

So I want to start this off by saying the reason I'm giving it a one star has nothing to do with service from the employees were great. BEWARE RM 722, HAS ROACHES!!!!!
The first night we stayed, we were in room 422. Everything was fine. Yes, the hotel overall is a little dingy and obviously not kept up. There's a lot of dirt, buildup and things are broken or stained. But overall the first night was fine. They allowed us to use the luggage carrier which itself too was dirty but it was a great help. We returned to stay for another two more nights and at first was put up in room 722. Bed bugs is something that I already worry about, but I never thought that I needed to worry about roaches. I do my research when it comes to hotels to ensure that no one else has had a bug issues. I didn't find anything like that in the reviews for this hotel before traveling. We leave for an event and we come back to our room, mind you our things are already out and about now because I've already checked for bed bugs and found no sign of them. As we're getting ready to wind down for the evening, I go to move our charger and a baby roach crawls away. Okay so I'm totally creeped out trying to figure out what I'm going to do. I go to the sink to wash my hands and happened to move the bag that toiletries are in and a bigger adult roach scurries away and into where the wall and vanity meet. It's 11:00 at night. I don't know what I'm going to do but I go down to the front desk to find out. I was visibly upset because I worry so much about bringing bugs home. I went to the front desk and I did not catch her name but she was very polite and very helpful, she immediately got me another room, two floors up and we went to 925. While collecting our items and making sure that we got everything, we opened a drawer underneath the nightstand by the television and yet another roach adult size on the outside of the drawer. I was creeped out the rest of the trip and thoroughly looked through the next room which was obviously much newer and cleaner. Nonetheless, as I know if you see a couple roaches there is an infestation and since the hotel is all connected, it was very worrisome. After that we did not take part in the Continental breakfast, although I wanted to with now knowing the place has roaches.
I used the exercise room which was nothing to write home about but I was glad that they had it and everything worked well. There is also a outside pool that I also took part in and was glad it was there. The great thing about this spot was they have a shuttle that starts at 3:00 p.m. all the way until 10:00 and will take you from the hotel downtown to Broadway and back again for free. Again I want to say that the employees were really great and very helpful. I just felt like more should have been done for the rm we were puting. I was very thankful that they got me a new room because at that point I was ready to leave the hotel. And had to go through a lot while unpacking and making sure my home is safe from hitchhikers. This is the first time in all of my traveling years I have encountered roaches and now I will be more aware of the multiple kind of bugs that could be in a hotel. Hope this helps. I wish someone would have told me so that I could have made a more educated decision before staying. Here. It is close to a Dunkin donuts and a 7-Eleven and not too far from the main highway. But there were a lot of seedy people around. I later find out that the north part of Nashville is a place where more crime happens. Although everything was fine, we never had any issues while at the hotel. In fact, we never had any issues never had any issues period while in Nashville. I absolutely fell in love with the area myself.
