I had ordered Samosa chat and requested to be spicy. It was so good and worth the price

Fast, casual, and full of flavor — Mild 2 Spicy is bringing authentic Indian street food to North Oakland, and it’s a total win. Located inside The Mill Food Co. on Melwood Ave, this ghost kitchen serves up a vibrant menu that lets you choose your meal and your spice level — from mild to spicy — for a completely customizable experience.
Ordering is simple: stop in and use the kiosk, or order online for pickup or delivery. Either way, you’re in for fresh, flavorful, and affordable Indian food that tastes like it came straight from the streets of Mumbai.
I tried a few dishes and was impressed by each one:
Aloo Tikki – perfectly spiced potato patties served with green and tamarind chutney.
Samosa Chaat – deconstructed samosas topped with chickpeas, chutneys, raita, onions, cilantro, and crispy sev — loaded with flavor and texture.
Idli – light, steamed savory cakes paired with coconut & tomato chili chutney and sambar.
Masala Dosa – a thin, crispy crepe stuffed with seasoned potatoes and served with flavorful chutneys and sambar.
Mango Lassi – a creamy, refreshing yogurt-based drink that perfectly balances all the spice.
Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors, and the convenience of the setup makes it even better. If you’re craving delicious Indian street food that’s quick, customizable, and satisfying, Mild 2 Spicy is a must-try spot in Oakland.
Tried this new Indian restaurant Mild 2 Spicy. I ordered a Masala Chai, Pani puri, Aloo Tikki, Medu Vada and Spring Dosa. Let me say I was blown away. Food was amazing, well packed and secured when I cam to pick it up. No wait food was ready before I even got there. Fast, quality service. Pani Puri was fun to eat never eaten anything like this it was good. Medu Vada and Spring Dosa filled me up after that couldn't eat anymore. Chai was so good, really top off my meal. Highly recommend this restaurant, I will be coming back for more Masala Chai.

So good we hired them as one of our wedding events caterers!
We found a Mild2Spicy food stand at a pre-Diwali mela earlier this year and loved their vada pav and pav bhaji. We asked them if they would be able to do a tasting for us since we were looking for a caterer for our mehendi event. Shalin, the founder was really helpful in curating the menu for us, gave us samples the next day, and we loved the food so much - within a day or two we had locked them in! We got their vada pav, pav bhaji, veg biryani and masala chai for the mehendi and for the wedding too we ordered their samosa, chai and another starter they made specially for us - a paneer corn cheese fritter. Highly recommend using Mild 2 Spicy for your events, but also just for your random snack cravings!
Ordered takeout from Mild 2 Spicy the other day. Ghost Kitchen in North Oakland, these guys do Indian Street food. Ordered Vada Pav, Samosa Chaat, Panner Tikka Rice Curry Bowl and Masala Dosa. Everything was amazing 5/5. I personally enjoyed the Vada Pav. I am a big fast food person so vada pav really hit the spot for me. It like a mini burger/slider 2 piece item. Defiantly worth the try.
