  Mi esposo me invitó por mi cumpleaños y era la primera vez que visitamos este restaurante, el ambiente es muy familiar y la comida es deliciosa, pero lo mejor fue nuestro mesero Kevin Ramírez, fue muy amable y cómo mi esposo es vegetariano le recomendo una pasta "penne primavera" y a mi me recomendo "filemiñon"... Kevin fue muy amable y siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros. Muchas gracias y pronto volveremos.

  This place has always just been "meh" in my opinion. Food is mediocre, nothing bad but I don't consider it to be food I would seek out. Just typical American-style dishes. The high noise level.is a result of bad building acoustics, the noise is high even when the restaurant isn't very full. Service is fine, no issues with that, staff are always pleasant. I think with food prices generally going nuts, I am more sensitive than ever to getting a little value for my dollars and this is not the place, just my opinion. For $20 for example, I expect a salad that doesn't taste like it was made up in advance and stuck in a fridge all day, but that was my most recent experience. Lots of folks like this place, it's just not for me.

  With so many new distractions popping up across the DMV, I almost forgot about this absolute treasure in Springfield, Virginia — Mike’s American Grill. From the moment you walk in, you’re reminded why this place has stood the test of time. The atmosphere still carries that familiar charm, and the food remains every bit as satisfying as ever. The menu is vast — truly something for everyone — and what stands out most is how consistent they’ve been over the years. It’s clear they know exactly who they are and the customers they serve. That confidence shows in every detail, from the kitchen to the service. A big thanks to our server, Stephanie, who was hands down awesome — attentive, warm, and completely on point from start to finish. She made an already great experience even better. If you’ve drifted away like I had, it’s time to circle back. Mike’s American Grill still delivers — effortlessly.

  Amazing service. All specials offered were absolutely worth a try. Service was fast despite full house. Staff is very professional, friendly and attentive to your requests. Food was so good that family cleaned the plates despite sizable portions. Be sure to ask staff about the size of you plan to share, but realistically it is unlikely you will have problem finishing individual orders so good they are. Fish was done absolutely perfect, kids loved their penne as well. Originally planned to skip a desert. I am glad we did not. Waffle was a vomplete delight.
