  Called to inquire about a sunroof, they said it’s 400 but it’s not tested, asked them to get it tested because im an hour away, 2 weeks later it’s still not tested, finally I gave up and said I’ll come pick it up so they called me back saying it’s 750 not 400 they wasted my time! Very disappointed I’m glad I didn’t drive up there for it.

  I have had one transaction with Miamitown and I found the customer service to go above and beyond what was expected after we ran into a slight problem. I will definitely be using them in the future. Thanks Aimee.

  Let me say, I've been to many scrap yards over the years and even thought "I'll call around" but here is the difference, Miamitown has a great staff and when I brought in 2000 lbs of rotors I asked would there be anyone to help me unload they said "oh sure not a problem",so when I pulled back to offload 2 guys approached and jumped in my truck and said "no worries, we got this" and they were clearing the truck and I just watched. My back was grateful to say the least! So again I say GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and Good fair prices! Tell Dave I sent you, he's awesome!!

  Kinda aggravated that my mechanic friend called in advance told them all the specs needed including year, make, model and wheel type/size. They confirmed they had both types that it could be. So but when I arrived with the wheel itself they had no idea what I was talking about. I had the employee come look at the wheel itself after a 30 minute drive and prechecked phone call they didn't carry it and it would be almost 3 times the quoted price and at leadt 3 days to get it from their other place. I will say the employee I dealt with was not rude or condescending so there's that. Just irritating that I wasted an hour for incompetence on the junkyards end to happen. I strongly suggest if using them make damn sure the person your talking to over the phone prior to making the trip knows what they are doing.
