  I brought my childhood sewing machine (45+ years old) in for maintenance and repair and was so impressed with the care and service over the years. Everything was explained clearly, no pressure, and all my questions are answered before repairs were made. When it finally bit the dust earlier this month 😪, I ended up purchasing a new machine from Metro as well and felt confident in the decision thanks to their kindness and knowledge.

  These are the 2 dumbest women I have ever dealt with, they kept telling me that my my sewing machine was 40 years old and I had just bought it 1 month ago at Jo Ann's brand new. Went to Fabric's and Fun in Altoona and got everything I needed.

  I broke the thing that holds the foot on my machine, and thankfully these guys were opened on a Saturday. They found the piece in their back stock and LITERALLY just saved my life basically! Excellent place, highly recommend. Support your small businesses!
