I don't know what to say about this place. I honestly got a weird vibe. I was a last minute appointment so when I waited an hour I understood. As I was waiting, people had crazy co-pays. I am unsure what they had done so I don't wanna think too much into it. I just hope they aren't scamming older generations. The women at the front desk seemed very nice and even went in the back for me to see what was taking so long. When I was seen, Mark S. Goldfarb did not have any bed side manner. I know I was nervous to be there but instead of helping me clam down, he was very dismissive. When I got home, looked at reviews and I agree with a lot of these comments. I ended up going somewhere else and I was diagnosed with something completely different so not only was he dismissive but he diagnosed me wrong. If you go here, just be mindful!

I had my 1st and last appointment with Dr. Mark S. Goldfarb earlier this week. I was seen by (2) people in his office before I got to him. I told the doctors associates that I had an eye infection the previous week which lasted over 4 days with very blurry vision. My eyes were also very dry & extremely sensitive to light. The 1st lady was very nice, gave me the normal "letter eyechart to read & shot air in my eyes". After advising the 2nd associate of what I experienced the week prior, the gentleman further examined my eyes in their machine and explained to me that everything seemed normal. By the time I saw Dr. Goldfarb, my eyes were already examined by 2 other associates. Dr. Goldfarb examined my eyes again then confirmed my dry eye & gave me a prescription. Dr. Goldfarb then looked at my chart & said "it's good for you that we are a Tier 1 participating provider in your insurance plan as you are getting the best value". Dr. Goldfarb proceeded to walk me to the checkout desk. He handed the lady behind the desk my chart & said "There is a $50.00 co-pay and you are also to charge $100.00 for a refraction". He then walked away. I was in shock. I did not know what a refraction test was, nor at any point was I asked if I wanted a refraction test or told by anyone in his office that a refraction test would cost me an extra $100 out of pocket. Furthermore, there was a sign at the doctors CHECKOUT desk advising that "Refraction is not normally covered by insurance companies and this doctor charges an additional $100.00 out of pocket for this procedure. Dr. Goldfarb purposely withheld this "Refraction" information in order to get me to pay an extra $100.00 for this visit. Dr. Goldfarb proved himself to be dishonest and untrustworthy. These are the last qualities you expect from a doctor. Why would Dr. Goldfarb not disclose the additional $100 charge information prior to giving the "Refraction test"? Dr. Goldfarb's "Refraction sign" was STRATEGICALLY placed at the checkout desk to prevent patients from seeing it before the "Refraction" is done to achieve his long term goal of ripping off as many patients as possible. UNACCEPTABLE. BEWARE of this doctor. He comes across nice but rips you off behind your back. Charges MUST be disclosed before services are rendered.

This office is out of 18th century. Unless you have 4 hours on hand don’t come here. Came here for my Dad to get checked for cataract. We had appointment at 4PM, had to wait for 1.5 hour before I was seen by the doctor even though there were no patients in waiting area!!! Their process is so outdated and everything is in piles of paper. They book multiple people in one slot and make everyone wait. Technician and front desk are most rude people I have ever seen.

Incredibly thorough. Only doctor who takes the time with you for each procedure along the way. David is a treasure. My husband and I had cataract surgery on both eyes. It was miraculous. Can't brag enough about Dr. Goldfarb.

I really want to thank Dr. Goldfarb and his assistant, David, for taking care of my red eye. I can’t thank you enough. I’ve been to many ophthalmologists before, and end up being discouraged because no one can fix my problem. This Doctor is worth the wait. Thank you for taking your time to listen to your patients and for caring.
