  We have 2 daughters attending at Merryhill over last 3 years (and counting!) For my daughter's, wonderful Toddler class teachers: Casey, Meriem, Kaitlynne, and Marina. With their guidance and great patience, our daughter has developed into a confident and capable child. Thank you for being such an important part in her crucial development at this age. For the older kid, we appreciate Ms. Be, Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Alyssa, Ms. Chamorro, and Ms. Aman for such warm and friendly demeanor, engagement with her on her level, and fostering independence and self-esteem over the years. As parents, we also appreciate the regular and positive communication from you all and the other staff members Valencia and principal Karina, keeping us updated with newsletters and pictures of our kid's daily activities.

  Our daughter has been attending Merryhill Preschool on Calvine Road for over 5 months now, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The Principal, Ms. Medina, and her amazing staff (Ms. Casey, Ms. Meriem, Ms. Kaitlynne, Ms. Stephanie, and Ms. Marina) do a fantastic job every single day. They not only teach valuable skills but also help the kids with their personal growth and confidence. The environment is warm, safe, and nurturing, and it’s clear that every teacher truly cares about the children. We feel very grateful to have found this preschool and would highly recommend it to any parent looking for a place where their child can thrive.

  Our daughter has been attending Merryhill Calvine for over 5 months now. The Principal Ms.Medina makes sure to hear your needs and expectations. Initial days when the child goes through separation anxiety, the teachers do a really good job of helping the children calm down. And slowly help them adjust! In no time my daughter started loving her teachers, frequently talking about her friends and teachers at home. All thanks to the extra efforts that her teachers took and everyday keep getting better in understanding what the kids really need with each developmental milestone. Special thanks to Ms. Casey, Ms. Meriem, Ms. Kaitlynne , Ms. Stephanie, Ms. Marina! Each one of them does an EXCELLENT job of making sure kids feel loved and valued!

  We've had our daughter at Merryhill Calvine since she was an infant. There have been changes with administration over the years (like all schools) but the recent years with the current principal, Karina Medina, and her teachers have been the best yet. Ms.Medina cares about the student experience and making sure families know she's in their corner. As a public school administrator, I am pleased with many things-- the staff have developed a relationship with my child and truly gotten to know her; the curriculum is strong and she is on track both academically and socioemotionally; the teacher/student ratio is perfect for our daughter; the school communicates frequently (daily reports with pictures and monthly newsletters) and hosts events that build positive culture and community engagement (Grandparents Day, Heritage Events, Potlucks, Car Building Competitions). They always take the time to take suggestions, hear feedback, and make improvements. Of the current staff, our daughter has had Ms.Alyssa, Ms.Be, and Ms.Felicia- all teachers that show an immense amount of care, thoughtful planning, and bring joy to their classrooms. Not every school is a fit for every child and we've been lucky that this school has been great for our daughter. If you want a place where your child is cared for, encouraged to grow as a student and young person, and a team that goes the extra mile- I recommend it.

  Truly exceptional teachers, staff and care! I want to shout out Ms Casey for her detailed attention and care for my child. We miss having you as we’ve moved on from your class. But then our new teachers Ms Destiny and Ms Es have kept the care going. We appreciate so many other teachers not mentioned here as well as the administrative staff for being caring, compassionate, and flexible to our needs (parents and children). Thank you for always making school more than educational, but exciting for my child. We have benefited so much from the extra attention and curriculum from better sleep and consistent routines, to an extensive vocabulary and interpersonal and many other skills. My child wouldn’t be the same without your caring teachers and curriculum.
