I’m a bit concerned as to why excellent staff members are leaving the Aurora Merryhill. We have been notified by tadpoles that three teachers and one admin have quit all within a week’s time It seems that the culture has taken a turn for the worse. I don’t believe it.is the teachers fault. I feel the change has come shortly after Miss Michael, the new director, came on board.
As a grandparent I only want what is best for my grandchildren. To see caring, dedicated, staff leave so abruptly is quite alarming.

Let me start by saying that I’ve been with this specific Merryhill Preschool for almost two years and for me, that’s saying a lot. After losing my children’s mother, I became extremely particular about who I trust to spend time with my kids. I cannot express enough how confident I am that choosing this school was absolutely the right decision.
The level of heartfelt care, professionalism, and security here is incredible. Every day, I know my children are safe, loved, and learning. Every teacher they’ve had has been not only kind and nurturing, but also genuinely dedicated to helping them grow and thrive.
The director, Ms. Tsukiko, has been both wonderfully personable and deeply professional she runs the school with compassion and excellence.
I am genuinely elated that my children are part of this Merryhill family. It gives me so much peace knowing they’re in such caring hands.

Merryhill Preschool Aurora, Colorado is an exceptional school and I recommend it for all families. The experience my child and my family has had here exceeds all expectations and then some. The staff there are all highly trained and qualified and the director, Tsukiko Michael, is a great director and is kind and gentle with all the children. As a parent, its been a heartwarming experience to see my child be excited to go to school and to see him thrive in such a fun learning environment. Thanks to all the staff, my son has learned and grown so much in the time that he has been there and I couldn't be more grateful. The director always has her door open to answer any questions or concerns we as parents have and I am exceptionally thankful for that.
Teaching and caring for kids is a huge responsibility and I believe that the staff at Merryhill have done an amazing job at that which puts my mind at ease as a parent of a little one.

Being a parent bringing their child to this school, I used to feel comfortable talking with staff and management alike. I felt welcomed in every day. But the feeling has turned sour and negative, bringing my child in. Since the new director has come to the school, I've not felt welcomed, nor do I feel comfortable with my child being in a room with her. The last time I came to pick up my son, Tsuki, the director, was in the room watching the children. The first thing said to me was that she had no idea what was going on with my child or the room. That was discouraging and worrying to know that she'd come into the room and not provided any sort of assessment or asked for updates before the prior teacher left the room. To include that other parents have asked to speak with her that I know there and talk to daily about- issues in a classroom or with their children that arnt being handled by Tsuki when other management has done what they can. And to then be brushed off for a later date, and then never talked to all. In General, I've never seen the director there for opening the school. There's always been another teacher there so I've not been able to talk with her when im there to drop off about how thing are with bringing my child in. The staff has expressed concern with the Director as well, daily mind you, and that made it that much more uncomfortable. A director that has no clue whats happening in the room shes watching makes me fear my child is in the wrong hands, teachers that fear their director make me feel that other children will not be taken care of the way they should be while teachers are more worried about the director than anything else, that's concerning beyond belief. Im pulling my child from this center and giving fair warning to those looking for child care. The teachers are loving, but I fear that lack of love from the director is felt through my childs room, and the school as a whole. My child, and any child there deserves better care than what's provided here.

Our grandchildren (ages soon to be 3 & 5) have been going to Merryhill Preschool since they were 12 weeks old. As grandparents, we have dropped them off/picked them up numerous times. Merryhill is an EXCELLENT school! Our granddaughter graduated from Pre-K and is ready for kindergarten this year. The knowledge she possesses is amazing.....some reading, sounding out simple words, writing, counting, colors, etc. Our 3 y.o. will be ready when it's time. If anyone is looking for a wonderful daycare/school, I highly recommend Merryhill!
