Love Meowhaus. Everyone is so kind and caring and they take great care of our cat. He always starts off nervous to be there, and by the time we pick him up he doesn't want to leave.

Meowhaus has been such a great help with giving out cat the best experience while we've been out of town for long periods of time. They provide consistent feedback and updates on how our little lady is doing and we feel comfortable and at ease knowing she's being looked after by an amazing team. With every stay she adjusts quicker and quicker and enjoys her time there. Cannot recommend them enough, they've been amazing to work with

We've been using Meowhaus since at least 2017. We've always had great service with them. We typically board both of our cats in one unit and have left them for multiple weeks when necessary. They get tons of attention and (for a fee) we get photos taken every few days with an update. Our cat Buster doesn't want to leave when we go pick him up. Meowhaus has always been reliable, friendly and consistent in their service. We can't thank them enough for all the years of help!

We absolutely love Meowhaus Feline Boarding! Our cats always receive amazing care and attention while staying in their own private room with multi-level shelves and beautiful views. Shannon, Christina, and the rest of the Meowhaus team are wonderful — kind, attentive, and truly devoted to the cats they look after.
The regular photo updates while we’re traveling are such a comfort and really show how happy and well cared for our cats are. We completely trust Meowhaus and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, loving place for their feline family members. 🐾
Frequently Asked Questions About Meowhaus 1 Feline Boarding & Day Spa
What do I bring?
We provide essential items such as a memory foam bed, litter box with litter, and food and water dishes. Please bring your cat's food, vaccination records, completed meowhaus paperwork, any necessary medications, and flea treatment. You're welcome to bring additional comfort items like bedding, blankets, or toys (avoiding those with strings or rubber bands). If you forget anything, we have various comfort items available.
What do you do in an emergency?
In case of a medical emergency, we'll immediately contact you or your designated emergency contacts. We'll arrange transportation to the nearest veterinary clinic for urgent care. Please note that all emergency care expenses are the responsibility of the cat owner.
What vaccinations are required?
We require FVRCP and rabies vaccinations. For cats unable to receive vaccinations due to health reasons, we accept a veterinary exemption letter.
What are the suites like?
Our 44 suites across two locations are approximately 216 cubic feet each. Standard and special needs suites are similarly sized, typically 4 feet wide, 6 feet long, and 9 feet tall. Most suites feature a skybox balcony, a large window overlooking the aviary, a full glass door, scratching carpet, and multiple levels. Special needs suites omit the skybox for safety reasons. The garden room is unique, offering an outside view instead of an aviary connection.
I'd like my kitty to stay just for the day. What do I do?
Day boarding is available for $40 per cat. Drop off your cat during our morning hours and pick up during afternoon hours. To book, visit our reservation page and select the same date for arrival and departure. Please disregard any additional fee notes; the cost is a flat $40.
My cat is indoors-only and never had fleas. Do I still need flea protection?
Yes, flea protection is required for all cats. While your cat may not have fleas, we occasionally receive cats with active infestations. We treat these cases immediately, but there's still a risk of flea transfer. We offer Advantage for $20 per dose if needed, which provides 30 days of protection.
Do kitties get individual attention?
Absolutely. Our staff regularly visits each suite to provide affection, including hugs, kisses, petting, and brushing. We employ dedicated kitty cuddlers for two-hour shifts of exclusive attention. Cats can also explore the shop individually, with some preferring to wander while others enjoy helping with office tasks. We prioritize safety, ensuring all cats are secure before opening the front door.
Can I come by for a tour?
Yes, we offer tours by appointment. To maintain a calm environment, we schedule tours between 10am-11:30am and 2pm-4:00pm, Tuesday through Saturday. We don't offer tours on Mondays due to high check-out activity.
My cat requires medication. Do you do that?
Yes, we administer various medications. Pills, liquids, and ointments are $10 per day, subcutaneous fluids are $20 per day, while insulin injections, glucose monitoring, and bladder expressions are $25 per day. Our staff includes a veterinary technician. Medicated cats receive treatment first thing in the morning and last thing at night, approximately 9 hours apart. Please contact us if you have any questions or consult your vet if you have concerns about the schedule.
Do I bring my own food?
Yes, please bring more than enough of your cat's regular food for their stay. We have refrigeration and heating facilities available. Don't forget to include any treats. If you happen to forget food, we offer various wet and dry options for $3 per day.
