  This is one of the best Napoletana Pizza Restaurant. It is as if you are dinning in Italy where the mouth watering pizza is prepared. The atmosphere is family ornted. It is good place to take your young ones for a healthy pizza fun time. It is also good place to celebrate Birthdays and Engagements. Our Community is enhanced by their hardworking entrepreneurship. Mariya and her beloved husband Rusciano love our Community. The flavor is delicious, friendly staffs unforgettable experience and a great evening. You will not regret visiting Menomal Pizza.

  One of the best pizza places in DC, for me there are no questions about it. The staff is friendly and courteous, the food is tasteful and just fantastic, and the environment is pretty good. Quiet enough to have patio group dinner or a private dinner inside. Pizzas are all special and make sure you get a good drink such as wines or a cocktail side on your meal... Jules Dassie

  I’ve eaten A LOT of great pizza in Italy. Menomale replicates a Neapolitan perfectly capturing that beautiful cruncheweesey that’s to die for.

  I had the pleasure of going to a pizza party happy hour at Menomale which was my first time. The pizzeria owner Mariya Rusciano gave a very frank discussion of two major issues facing small businesses in DC and the minimum wage laws. Also, about recent legislation on the Dram Shop laws facing DC Council. The authentic Neopliotan pizza was excellent! Great drinks and very nice atmosphere. I plan to tell friends about it and do plan to come again.

  I will never eat at Menomale again. I went to Menomale with my husband and guests and after sitting at the front patio against the wall for a very short amount of time (~5 minutes) my legs were extremely itchy and I realized that I was attacked by bugs- my left leg was swollen, inflamed and completely covered in DOZENS of bites. I was alarmed by this and requested to move inside and our server acted like this was a total inconvenience. It is not my fault that their bug control was inadequate. Inside the restaurant, there were bugs flying around everywhere, we could see them flying throughout the dinner and in the air. It was frankly repulsive and made the dinner difficult to enjoy. We were also seated for thirty minutes without our server checking on us or making sure that someone had taken our order, on top of the pest issue. When our food finally came it was barely adequate but nothing special, I feel as if there are much better pizzas with better service without a pest problem. The crust was hard and the ingredients did not taste fresh.
