There are real colleges and then there is North Medical career college. I'm not impressed by the aura of this place, it is not a conventional school setting.... I guess it's a suite in a residential building that they call a "school". 1. They were very passive when asked about the credentials of the school. 2. This was the third time I scheduled a meeting with them and finally got through to someone. I visited on several occasions and none of the staff was the same. The current receptionist had no idea about the meeting I set up with both of the directors prior to. When I walked in the main entrance I saw a beautiful young lady trying to speak with the assistant director and all she did was speak over her about someone not being allowed back in their program. IT WAS NOT A GOOD REPRESENTATION OF THE SCHOOL. This was a huge red flag!!! That aggressive nature was totally worrisome. That same director greeted me and I just walked out, that was just enough for me. I think it's best I won't be going here.... good luck!

Where do i start ? I'm at a lost for words...... I'm Completely disgusted with the administration here and how it's been ran for these past years . My daughter tells me the dreadful stories coming from this school and it's time to finally speak up and shed light on this place . It's Completely ridiculous I hear stories about faculty going on day trips to support health care matters down town while these students are behind on work and unaware of the materials needed to pass the course . There is something to be said about the quality of education and leadership here . It's outright shameful to the students walking into the classroom with a complete different teacher every other month .How can anyone learn with so many different methods of teaching and personalities . I mean i paid for my child to receive a proper education and all I've been told about is how students can not keep up with the workload nor understand half of what is being taught here . Something is to be said about such disorder and Unspeakable misconduct within this place . Students have not received a proper graduation ceremony . I mean I would have loved to see my daughter walk at her graduation at least or something !!! I've witnessed her spend countless hours on research with which half of the material that the course did not provide. There's even so much more to this I can't even wrap my mind around . I'm just glad she's graduated and done from this madness ,mind you she works two jobs and still managed to deal with this unprofessional institution. Be careful read all of your contracts and be diligent as we are in some very messy and troubling times. Some ppl are just about the money.

My father has requested transcripts along with admission documents several weeks ago. It's now August 9th still no answer from the school. I get placed on hold and told staff are in meetings and will get back to me at a later time. This is completely absurd !!! I've read some of the comments on here and I can say this has been some of my dealings regarding the school. With so much turn around, I question how can anyone even get me these documents?. It doesn't help when leadership here is unable to communicate with integrity to say the least. Then I find out half of the faculty are going on vacation with no one in charge of simple tasks such as this one. I wonder how they are operating in this space with little to no staff.

To whom it may concern
I am submitting this formal complaint regarding my experience as a student at Northern Medical Career College. My enrollment period was marked by misrepresentation, inconsistent agreements, and what I believe to be discriminatory treatment. The following is a chronological account of key incidents:
1. Externship Removal
I was removed from my assigned externship site due to alleged “late payments,” despite a prior verbal agreement with the program director permitting my payment arrangement. This removal occurred after my remaining tuition balance had been paid in full.
2. Change in Director’s Position
Upon returning from vacation, the program director denied our prior agreement and refused to acknowledge our discussion regarding payment arrangements.
3. Hostile Interactions
Following this incident, I experienced multiple hostile and unprofessional interactions with faculty, both via phone and in private meetings, whenever I attempted to address my enrollment status.
4. False Promises of Re-Enrollment
Over the following months, I was repeatedly assured that I would be allowed to re-enroll. However, no action was ever taken to restore my status. These assurances appear to have been made without any intent to follow through.
5. Differential Treatment Based on Financial Standing
Based on my observations, students without financial difficulties progressed through the program without similar obstacles, while those facing financial hardship experienced delays, additional scrutiny, or removal from sites.
6. Discriminatory Comments
As a person of color, I was subjected to statements I believe to be discriminatory. This included being told to “get in the back of the line” and receiving remarks about my attire implying that I could afford to make larger payments.
7. Verbal Agreements Not Honored
Several verbal agreements with staff were later disregarded, resulting in disadvantageous outcomes. I believe these were used as leverage to control payment timelines and behavior at externship sites.
8. Termination from Program
These incidents ultimately culminated in my termination from the program, which has had a significant negative impact on my education and career trajectory.

This review is based on my first-hand experience as someone who seriously considered — and briefly attended — [Northern Medical Career College ]. I’m sharing it so future students can make a fully informed decision.
During my time interacting with the program, I encountered several concerns:
Enrollment & Payments: I was asked to make tuition commitments very early. I recommend getting all agreements in writing and understanding the full refund policy before paying.
Communication: Some interactions with staff felt dismissive or overly confrontational, making it hard to address issues constructively.
Instructor Turnover: My program saw multiple instructor changes within months, which disrupted learning.
Externship Sites: Opportunities seemed limited, and placement took longer than expected. Ask for a current site list before enrolling.
Equipment & Resources: In my view, some of the resources were not as up-to-date as advertised. Request a tour and see the equipment in use before committing.
I have attended other schools and had better experiences, so I know what a supportive learning environment can look like. While this is only my personal experience, I hope it encourages others to ask thorough questions and seek multiple opinions before making a decision.
