Mannnn If I could give this place a -5 stars, I WOULD.
I pulled up today from a 45 min drive thinking I was about to chill, grab a drink, maybe some food… but nope. Soon as I walk in, before I could even sit down, this African American lady with glasses and brownish hair hits me with, “I need your ID.” No “hi,” no “welcome,” no nothing — just attitude off the bat.
Cool. I show my ID, order a drink, ask for a food menu. I tell her what I want and she hits me with, “I need your debit card before I can send your order to the kitchen.” 😒 Like what?? Since when do you need my card first to make a chicken tender order?
So I give her my card just to see what’s going on, and she stands there swiping and typing for like 3-4 minutes. Then walks away with my card in her hand. Comes back, swipes again, walks off AGAIN with my card, and starts opening beers for somebody else like it’s normal.
At that point I’m like, “Hold up why are you walking around with my card?” She says, “Our system’s down, I’ll need it back in a minute.” Excuse me?? Then I check my bank app TWO pending charges. One for $33, one for $25. When I tell her, she plays dumb like she don’t know what I’m talking about.
10 minutes later, some random plate shows up chicken sandwich and fries. I’m like, “I didn’t order this.” And when I ask how she managed to send that to the kitchen if the system was supposedly down, she just stood there. No words.
This whole thing felt sketchy from the start. If management don’t fix this, this place gonna crash and burn FAST. You don’t treat paying customers like that, especially when you’re brand new in the area.
Heads up to everybody: keep your card in your hand, or better yet, don’t even bother coming here. Sketchy vibes all around.
