I dropped my daughter's dress off to be altered on 9/30/24. I was told it was an easy fix and would be done by the 9th. The wedding we were attending was the 19th. The 9th came and went. I called on Friday the 11th to see if my dress was done and was informed that the dress was not done and that the person who does alterations was out on a family emergency until the 16th. I told her I needed my dress ASAP. She said she would call the owner and find out what he wanted to do. I told her please call me back right away as I needed to get my dress to someone else. She never called me back. I called every day and left several messages for them to call me so I could pick up my dress. No return call. I had to purchase another dress for the wedding. I finally was able to talk with the owner on the 16th and he said he was on his way back from Maryland and would be in the store the following day. He said he would text me when he got into the store. I didn't hear from him until the 21st. Obviously two days after the wedding. I received a text saying I could pick up my dress. I did and was issued a full refund but I felt like he didn't even care that we had to buy a whole other dress. He didn't care that no one called us to inform us of the family emergency so that we could have got our dress and went somewhere else. I felt that keeping my dress from me until after the weddding was mean. I'm sorry for the loss of the owner's brother but a simple phone call or even a text from his employees would have been sufficient.

McTailor’s did not have my bridesmaid’s dress (I am the bride) for my wedding this past week ready by the described date. My bridesmaid called the shop repeatedly the week before my wedding and 2 days before the wedding showed up to the shop to collect her dress. Upon showing up on 12/28, there was a note saying they were closed and would be back 12/29. Going back on 12/29, there was a new note that they were closed until further notice for an emergency.
My wedding planner got in touch with the owner who claimed the dress was done and we would be able to retrieve the dress with the help of the landlord. When the dress was retrieved the next day, the DAY OF THE WEDDING, with the help of the landlord, the dress was unfinished with pins in it.
We took the dress to another tailor to see if we could pull off a miracle, but they said 4 hours of nonstop work was required to finish this dress.
My bridesmaid paid up front for her dress and has not received a refund yet for this breach of agreement.
Furthermore, this business caused extreme stress on my wedding day. I would NEVER recommend this business after the nightmare they caused.

I needed my scrubs altered for a new job and Geeta was so awesome! Fair price, very kind and personable, and the puppy is adorable. Hate I missed Ray. They’re always great with veterans, and the advice is excellent. They came through for me! Thank you Geeta!
