  Great experience with McHales Environmental Insulation! John came over to our home, identified which walls did not have existing insulation, took measurements and provided cost quote bid for blow-in insulation the following day. We scheduled the job, and the crew came over on time and walked us through what they were going to do. They completed the job within a few hours, patched holes nicely, and cleaned up their work areas. We have felt a noticeable difference in our home insulation since the job was completed. They also helped us process an energy rebate. We would recommend McHales to anyone looking for blow-in wall insulation!

  I have been trying to do the insulation in my house for a long time, but I only had luck once when I found McHale's Insulation. My house is old. It felt like an oven in summer, and in winter, like a fridge, until they did the blown insulation in the wall; wow, it's fantastic. What is the difference now? If you are looking for an honest and professional company to do the insulation your of house, you should call them. They did an excellent job; I have to thank them every day. It feels great.

  I hired this company to add insulation to the exterior walls of my 70-year-old house in Fairfield. It was fascinating procedure, using small holes in the drywall to blow in some in each stud bay and then sealing up the walls (almost undetectable, though I'll need to texture and re-paint those spots (approx. 1 inch) in the future. It was a lot of work for that crew, but they carefully isolated each section with plastic sheets before beginning and were very efficient. Made me think of "Cat In The Hat" - they left not a bit of that mess in my house or garage. (I also had them replace my ceiling insulation because the prior job was not good enough.) They also did the paperwork for a PG&E grant to cover part of the costs. I would absolutely choose this company again. I think I was lucky to find them just through an internet search. The person who estimated the job and the office staff who did communication and billing were also top-notch. I wish all home maintenance companies were this much on top of things!
