- KGK M GAug 7, 20253.0An unfortunate experience happened. I paid $20 for a sandwich and chips (total $8.40), I was distracted by my mother and received change for a $10. By the time we walked and found a place to sit, I then realized the mistake she made, but it was too late to go back. I am more upset with myself for not paying attention to the change given to me, but the young lady knew I handed her a $20 as I said it to her, and she repeated back to me. In a way, I feel like $10 was stolen from my purse. I still blame myself as it was my responsibility to verify the change!
