Beware if purchasing gas with a card. They will drain your account on a $20 purchase on a so called "deposit" and leave you penniless until next business day. There is no one you can call you must wait until the banks open. Maverick is the only station I've gone to that seems to enjoy holding all the funds on the card I'm using which in turn prevent me from completing deliveries that I'm in the middle of doing. I will never step foot again into a Maverick. Circle K and Nom Nom surpass Maverick.

The pumps run slow on purpose so they can blast garbage ads in your face

This is, for the most part, a decent stop for a quick snack. The problem is the fact that they never seem to have breakfast items, no matter how early or late on the morning people go in. There's plenty of pizza slices, but hardly any burritos, biscuits and gravy, or other breakfast items. I happen to know that their algorithm is based on the past 2 weeks' worth of sales, but if no items are made in those 2 weeks, then the algorithm doesn't let them know to make the items. I have a feeling this crew does it on purpose, since no other Maverik seems to have this issue (I have been to the Airway, Pines, Sullivan, and Montgomery stores pretty early too, and they are all fully stocked with breakfast items and minimal pizza, as it should be). They appear to be lazy, since it's a lot easier to place a frozen pizza slice in the oven than it is to prepare the filling on a burrito, roll it up, and cook it. I've spoken to the manager about this, and from what other customers in line said, she's been spoken about it at least 4 separate times in the last week, if not more, and she simply refuses to do anything about it. She says she's gonna bring it up to the director, but she clearly has no intention of doing so, only saying that line because it's what she's been trained to do as an appeasement tactic. If the employees were less lazy and did what they were supposed to, I might give this place another chance, but for now, I'll stick to getting my morning snacks and gas elsewhere
