  Food was really good. Biscuits are made as a cake, so crispy on top, thick, buttery, and fluffy. Grits have a bit of heat, everything has a slight Hispanic flare. The only thing we really didnt like was the orange juice, maybe too much from concentrate?

  Had this delivered over the weekend for bunch and it blew my family away! Huge buttery soft biscuits! Delicious gravy! Meat lovers plate is awesome and the portions are great! We will DEFINITELY eat there again!

  I heard great things about the food from my friends so my husband and I were excited to try this place before a road trip. We waited for them to open but then had difficulty trying to order. Despite ordering a Maverick biscuit the server kept repeating back cinnamon biscuit so we ended up pointing to what we wanted and gave up on any details (like adding mayo) . After we got the order in, the server started saying their server was down that morning with such clarity we wondered if there was in fact a language barrier. We offered to go get cash in the interim of food cooking. We came back 12 min later and she was on the phone with no items on the grill so we canceled our order to get on the road…

  My family usually orders takeout from Maverick's via door dash. However, my family was in town and we decided to dine in. All I can say is this place is amazing hands down. The young man that was our service had a smile on his face, was genuinely kind and provided overall excellent customer service. We felt very accepted and not uncomfortable one time unlike certain restaurants in the area. We will be forever customer's and will never have any reservations about dining in. Thank you for the extremely positive environment and amazing service. We are now forever customers! Thank you!

  We discovered Maverick about a month ago. The food is incredible. For such a small place, the sauces, flavors and butters are truly amazing and things that you would expect in a much larger restaurant. And don't forget the biscuits! Huge and fluffy! Today I had their avocado serrano ranch dip with my breakfast potatoes! Really good. I was surprised to see that they serve Nueske's bacon. If you've ever been to Wisconsin, you know how good Nueske's is! Service is great, always a smile from Alex.
