    We bought a car from Mathew motors in September, it was a good experience all in all. They have a lifetime powertrain warranty for any car under 80 k miles that would cover certain components, with a $100 deductible for qualifying repairs. October we got a check engine light and took it to autozone to read the code. They told us what the issue was so we took it to Mathew motors to get fixed and told them what we knew about the issue. After dropping it off we received a call that the part is under warranty by Subaru so we would have to take it to them for the repair. The required repair was a component that would fall under Mathew motors powertrain warranty however we ended up paying over $200 for a diagnostic fee and no repair, just advised to take it to Subaru. I understand that the fix should be done by Subaru for warranty purposes but to charge us $100 over the deductible for a diagnostic with no repair a month after we bought the vehicle doesn’t seem like good business.

    Chase was awesome! He was personable, knowledgeable about the car I purchased, patient while I test drove two vehicles, and he was very helpful! There were two SUVS that I loved and I wasn't quite sure which one I wanted but when I made my choice, he confirmed that I made the right decision and gave me details on both vehicles to help. He was also sure to help get me set up with a free trial with OnStar and he didn't have to take the time do that but I'm glad he did because knowing me, I probably would have forgotten. Ken was awesome as well! He was able to get me in the car I chose and explained the financing down to every detail. Although I didn't work with Brandon or Raul, they were also very friendly and congratulated me. Even though they didn't make the sale with me, they were supportive of their co-worker, and I love that! Raul and Chase asked if I wanted to ring the bell on my way out and when I did, everyone cheered. I normally wouldn't do something like that because I don't like the attention but it was pretty cool! This is my third purchase with Matthews Motors and it's been a great experience every time! They always service the vehicles to make sure they are in great shape and they have fair prices. I know I will make another purchase in the future! Thank you for another great experience!

    I had an awesome experience at Matthew Motors! From start to finish, the whole process was smooth and stress-free. Brandon was absolutely amazing—friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right vehicle. He wasn’t pushy at all, just super helpful and upfront about everything. Brandon went above and beyond to make sure I got a great deal and made the whole experience enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend Matthew Motors and especially Brandon to anyone looking for a reliable vehicle and great customer service!

    I was blessed to have the help from Queen in looking into a new vehicle in the short amount of time i had before returning a rental. Queen here at matthews motors was absolutely outstanding at her job an explaining everything to me so that I could throughly understand what exactly the car that I was purchasing as far as down payments, insurance, and we had a blast taking the car on a test drive i truly felt like i was hanging out with my best friend while i was with Queen ! She’s awesome and yall should definitely request her as your next car sales associate!! Thank you to everyone at Matthews motors for being a so kind, so understanding, and supportive through this stressful time of finding a vehicle.

    While I have known about Matthews for years, I never bought a car, had any service or anything else. When one of those "all online" places fell completely flat on my car purchase a few months ago, started scouring the web for a Hyundai Santa Fe Limited. Lo and behold, there was a perfect one right here in Clayton at Matthews. I did an online "I'm interested" and the phone rang shortly thereafter. SIDE NOTE: This was all on a single Saturday morning within about a 3 hour window when mentioned "all online" place that rhymes with "nirvana" was SUPPOSED to be delivering a Santa Fe and then decided they needed more paperwork and the car would be delayed - though prior night all was on go for a morning delivery...blah blah blah. That was the second time this happened with them. THOSE people I have NOTHING good to say about. Don't believe those "How easy it is" commercials. It ain't. At least they totally tanked it twice for ME. YMMV. ANYWAY, phone rang from Matthews and though I wasn't quite ready to go through all that, I said I would come down to look at it at 11 am. Got down there, worked with a young fellow Juan who was awesome. Did a test ride and noticed an issue with overheating on acceleration but other than that all was great. Within an hour, they actually had setup financing for me on the fly that actually BEAT the bank loan that I had procured for said "all online" purchase. About an hour after THAT, they had the car detailed and sitting in my driveway - I live in Clayton. Dealing with LOCAL people is always a lot easier - and happier to do business with local people. Online might be easier for some things, but when it comes to something as critical and detailed (at times) as a new car purchase? It will be Matthews Motors for me after this. A few days later, the overheating alert was still coming on - thought it might be just the car hadn't been run. Called Danny, who had given me his info during the process who is either a manager or head of customer satisfaction (NOT sure what his real title is but truly made the purchase a joy), and he said bring it on down. As it turned out, it ended up being an $1100 repair that they took care of. You can't ask for much more than that. No quibbling - nothing. "Here's your car and we appreciate your business!" Awesome. Since then, I've taken in my BMW for some service work (though it's a lost cause at this point), and my F-150 for some service work - and actually have the truck down there today. Same great, friendly treatment EVERY time - they are truly my "go to" car people from here on out. I really can't say enough good things about these people and company. Their sales, service and treatment have been TRULY appreciated. Customer for life.
