  This was so good. Matthengas makes pizza the way pizza is supposed to be made. I got the Matthengas Supreme and it was so delicious because of the variety of vegetables which were all so fresh and how delicious the meats were as well. I can't describe how much this pizza was delicious but it was. This pizza was not oily, nor was the crust dry but the crust was freshly baked. The cheese was oozing smoothly all over the pizza and there was no artificial taste or that plastic looking melted cheese stuck to the pasta sauce. This was genuinely real and again, was soooo delicious. Pizza for me will now be that of Matthengas. This by far was the best pizza that I had in years. If you haven't tried Matthengas, I suggest to give them a try. You won't be disappointed. I know I wasn't but was extremely satisfied. ☺️❤️🍕

  I recently picked up an order of 16 inch pizzas for a work event. Teesha and her crew were great. Service was fast and friendly and our order was right on time for our event. We ended up getting a cheese, pepperoni, supreme, and vegetarian pizzas for our event. They were a hit. Our lunch events usually have leftovers, but this time around, not a single piece was left. People who had never had Mattenga's pizza were finding me afterwards to find out were I had gotten the pizza. Those who were vegetarian in our group mentioned that the veggie option felt like a real specialty pizza and not an afterthought. It wasn't just "supreme pizza without the sausage". In the future, we hope to order more Mattenga's and try some of the other specialty pizzas. And I'll need to remember to order more to match our new found appetite for Mattenga's pizza.

  To Donna, Mike and Carlos. I was having a day, I lost track of time and I made a last minute, late night order. I felt bad that it was so late, but Y'all's graciousness was top notch. Did I mention the pizza btw? My favorite in SA. I appreciate your family business!

  We tried Mattenga's last night for the first time based on all the great reviews. I had the cauliflower crust pizza and my husband had a cheese pizza. We split an order of the lemon pepper wings. We both agreed that it was the very best pizza we have had in years. We picked up and the pizza crust was crispy and delicious and the wings were terrific! We definitely will be back and will let others know as well.

  My uncle introduced me to this place two days ago (the one off 151). It was so good, and I was so close to the location on Callaghan, that I reordered from them last night too. It’s always nice to find a mom and pop shop over a commercial establishment! Good food, friendly people, and quality experience! The toppings are large and plentiful - meaning… don’t eat in the truck on your way home - you might spill it all like I did (ha, ha!).
