  These guys did a remarkable tune up on my old German Deco clock. Not only did they get it running on time but it now only needs to be wound once every two weeks instead of once a week. It even chimes better!! I would highly recommend their work. Thank you!

  I normally don’t leave reviews, but my experience with Master Clock Repair is the exception. After several failed attempts by another repair service and a disastrous outcome I called Master Clock Repair. Michael fixed the shoddy repair in a timely fashion and explained everything. He is extremely knowledgeable and fair and I recommend him 110% .

  I like to find cuckoo clocks at thrift stores. I've taken 2 to Master Clock Repair with amazing results and at a reasonable cost. They have always been honest with me on what I've bought and whether it is worth having repaired. They are very thorough on explaining how to care for them and advise me what to watch for in the future. They have shown me how to adjust the pendulum, due to temperature/humidity, so that the clock is always accurate. I will definitely be taking any other cuckoo clocks I find to them, along with any repairs that my current ones need. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AT A REASONABLE COST!

  I have a 50-year-old Herschede clock that I have owned for that length of time since and it was in need of a rebuild although it kept perfect time. The chime system was faulty and would not shut off. After researching Mike's expertise with Herschede repair and the rarity of people that can work on these clocks, I decided to drive it to Columbus Ohio from southern Illinois. I was on a waiting list for about 2 years before he was able to work on it. That's how much in demand his services are for this brand of clock. I was pleased with his ability, courtesy and professionalism and the work that he did was outstanding. He explains everything clearly. He answers all emails questioning the initial repair and follow-up questions. He worked on it and made sure it ran for about 6 months before we picked it up. The clock is, once again,now perfect and chimes perfectly. He rebushed it, replaced new cables, tuned it, realigned the controls, cleaned it up, polished the movement, calibrated it, and it is now running perfectly. I've got it down to about minute a month or even less after installation. I can recommend Master Clock Repair as the best there is for the Herschede . I think he is probably one of the best professional experts on this particular brand of valuable grandfather clock. He was so good that I brought up another clock for him to repair upon return pick up of the Herschede movement. If you have a Herschede clock that you are willing to travel to bring the movement to Michael, that will be well worth your time and effort. If you desire to keep these masterpieces clocks running as they should be. I'm thankful for his talent, and time to really assess my clock movement, repair it and bring it back to the same quality and excellence that it once had when purchased new. I continue to enjoy the clock to this day and will pass it down to my family, hopefully to enjoy for another 50 years. Maybe Michael's son will be able to repair it at that time should the need arise. I couldn't be happier.
