Took a small dump truck full of limbs to dispose. Marr Bros quoted me $195 ($15 per yard-13 yards). I passed and took it to the dump, they charged $51 for that load.

Very friendly staff and super helpful. I haven’t been able to find a 1/2 yard of any type of soil for less than $100 throughout the area and stumbled upon Marr Bros. We got 1/2 a yard for just over $17 that has no additives, no fertilizers or pesticides, and most importantly, no plastic, foam, or glass that we’ve been finding in other soils. It was a top soil blend that had some very tiny sticks in it but that was it. The soil itself was extremely smooth, almost lik a very, very fine sand. It was extremely easy to mix in with my own fertilizers and kept the moisture even throughout the hot day (every other brand we’ve tried ends up hard and dry after a few hours of 80°+ F). The plants are doing exceptional in it and didn’t immediately wilt as they had in the other soil blends.

I called Marr Bros and was told by the office girl closing time was 5:30. Made it in just after 5. Was told they were closed by some guy coming out of the office. I said, "Oh, I was told 5:30". The guy that, I'm assuming was the owner said, "No you weren't". I said I was when I called earlier that day. He proceeded to speak to me rudely and said I was lying. All he needed to say was it must have been a mis communication, but to get rude and call me a liar is way out of line. I would have been quite ok with coming back if I wasn't spoken to like I was. Never will I go there again. That old man was lucky he didn't get a lesson in manners. EDIT: I have a bunch of family in the area I told about my experience today. They will no longer be using Marr Bros either. Because really, why would I lie about getting a half yard of dirt for my tomato beds.
