  I would highly recommend Mark's Tuckpointing for masonry work. I had asked my neighbor down the block for some recommendations because they had done two masonry projects earlier in the year with Mark's Tuckpointing. It is best to call the office directly for getting an estimate. I found the online request process was not as effective. Our project took two full days. There were several issues that needed attention for our 100 year-old bungalow: Attached are some before and after pictures! They are a bit mixed up. -Chimney from the roofline upwards needed to be ground out and repointed and a missing chimney cap -Power wash cleaning off peeling paint from decorative limestone and two steel lentils. We knew that the paint would not come off the limestone completely. .-Complete grinding out and repointing of main corner pillar by the front stairs -Structural mortar cracks over and around windows, matching common brick mortar color -Three (3) courses of crumbling common bricks replaced on the side foundation after years of external moisture issues (which were finally resolved by our neighbors) -Repointing the joints between limestone lentils and most of the red waffle face brick (and matching the mortar color) _Repainting the steel lentils with Rustoleum paint. The crew members arrived on time; all were very polite and worked diligently both days. We noticed that extra crew members showed up at the end of the day to help with doing additional repairs and wrapping things up at the end. Our house looks brand new! Highly recommend and support this local company.
