  By far the friendliest staff in all of D.C. every time I’ve come in, I’m greeted with a smile and the best coffee and breakfast. David, Andres, and Maria Paula are incredible at what they do! This is a must if you are ever in the area.

  Such a lovely and charming place — cozy atmosphere, beautiful interior, and absolutely delicious food! The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and full of positive energy, which makes the whole experience even more delightful. A perfect spot to relax, enjoy, and feel genuinely welcomed!

  love this maman location! it’s in my neighborhood and i come here super regularly. not only is the environment, coffee, and food amazing, but the staff + service are always incredible and friendly! i always recommend this spot and bring friends and family whenever they visit. thanks for being my fave neighborhood spot, maman!

  I just had Andrea's Everything Croissant & Salmon Sandwich and it was phenomenal. I pretty much inhaled it. I don't even know what I'm going to do now. I've been fighting every urge to come here just for their delicious baked goods, but now that I've discovered this sandwich... I am ruined... in the best way possible! Ugh I love this place more with every visit. Their honey lavender latte is also one of my favorites. I like to try EVERYTHING and honestly, this place can do no wrong. And the cherry on top? The employees are so kind and genuinely friendly. Their customer service skills are top tier. The place is also beautifully decorated and very spacious (plenty of seats). Def a cute spot for a brunch date with friends or partner. I also like to go here solo to decompress. It’s such a pleasant place.

  We recently moved to the area and have made Maman a regular spot for weekend lunch/brunch, so this review is long overdue! The atmosphere is comfy and relaxed, with a beautiful indoor dining area that feels like the patio of a French chateau. The food is always fresh and tasty with a good variety and decent value for the portion sizes. Given the good food, it’s not surprising that the place can get crowded, especially on weekends around noon. The service can sometimes back up, but in those instances you need to remember to relax (pretend you’re really in France) and wait for the food to come out. It’s worth it when it does! Finally, I need to call out how great the staff is. They are always warm and welcoming, and very eager to accommodate you if any issue comes up. In particular, Priscilla (the manager, I think) has always gone above and beyond. She has been there literally every time we’ve visited and it’s always a pleasure to have her welcome us with her warm smile and excellent service. Maman (the Navy Yard location) is a new favorite and we plan to visit again many more times. You should too!
