I wanted to share feedback about our recent experience hosting a birthday party at your location. This was actually our third time celebrating at Main Event, but unfortunately, the service quality has declined with each visit, and this time was particularly disappointing. Our assigned party host was not present even 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. We were left waiting with the cake and guests until she finally arrived. Throughout the party, she was not engaged or helpful — she mostly stood near the table while we tried to manage everything ourselves, including setting up the table, cutting the cake, serving drinks, and slicing pizza for the kids. We have photos showing that it was us and other parents who ended up handling all of this.We did speak with the manager, who was very understanding and kind enough to apologize in person, and we truly appreciate that gesture. However, the lack of support from our assigned host made the entire experience extremely stressful and disappointing. We’ve been loyal customers for several years and had always chosen Main Event for its fun environment and convenience, but this experience has made us reconsider hosting future parties here. I hope you can review what went wrong with your party service process and ensure other families don’t face a similar experience.

I booked a birthday party at Main Event hoping for a fun family experience, but it was a huge letdown. We arrived early as requested but had to wait over an hour for a table, with no clear communication or help from staff. The hosts were unorganized and unprofessional, mixing up party details and failing to assist properly. Food arrived late and without basic necessities like napkins or utensils. Promised activities were canceled or mishandled, and the overall service was chaotic and disrespectful. Despite my daughter having some fun, the poor management and rude staff ruined the experience. I paid over $300 for this and will never return or recommend this place. They need serious improvements in training and customer service.

I ordered food at 10:20 and wondering where my food is 30 minutes later. Looked around the bar and I just see my food sitting there behind the glass with no one bringing it out like it's been abandoned. Finally got it at 10:55.

It’s a cool place but the lackluster customer service will be the reason why I will not return. We decided to eat first since there were few people in the restaurant, it took about 45 minutes for wings and a chicken sandwich. The waitress never came and checked on us, no refills, and did not acknowledge that my order was not made correctly. When I did get my correct side and condiments, the serving bowl was not clean and contained contents from some other food. Unfortunately I didn’t catch that until I had eaten it all. Hopefully they’ll improve on their customer service skills but seeing how a manager was consistently on her phone, I doubt it.

I brought my kids here for the all you can play pass specific for 10/13. The advertisement online said they could play any activity as many times as they wanted as long as we paid before 12:00 pm and left by 5:00 pm and the kids passed the height restriction. We bought the passes and then were told after purchasing that the gravity ropes were closed. This was confusing because there was a sign with the price for activities open-5:00 and a different price from 5:00- close. We were not informed of this closure before purchasing the pass. Once we found out, Maya at the cash register apologized and said she would add $10 to each child’s fun card. Gravity ropes is for $9 and the kids could have played it multiple times with the pass had it been open as promised in the advertisement but we agreed to that because of how sweet Maya was. Later her manager AJ Harping refused to add the $10 dollars and said he could only add $5 because it was a promotion pass ( even though the promotion included gravity ropes). His attitude was condescending and humiliating. He made me feel like I was asking for charity or a handout. Later Maya came back and apologized even though he had belittled her too instead of empowering her and acknowledging her problem solving and customer service. Also Larry from laser tag came over and apologized saying the kids could play laser tag as much as they wanted. Thank you Larry and Maya for making sure our kids had a fun time despite AJ harping attitude and the unexpected closure. I will be complaining to corporate because they should have asked to be removed from the promotion if they can’t live up to it and should always treat customers better than the way I was treated.
