a soothing dinner that celebrated the art of simple, home-cooked italian cuisine, where the careful balance of spices and textures transformed each dish into a subtle yet memorable work of culinary art.

the meal was served with a modest flair that belied its complex layers of flavor; the gentle aroma of fresh basil and slow-cooked sauces created a dinner that was both nostalgic and refreshingly inventive.

I phoned in to this location, on two different days. Upon two of the visits this street looking guy who cookz, clImed that he did not have tickets. Both times I ordered pizz. Nevef got it , and told them, they are sisorvanized. Forgef this place, or be willing to order in perso, and you will gave to wait awile. That is the trouble with this place.

If you’re looking for a place with great drinks, solid fries, and a laid-back happy hour vibe, Maggio’s is definitely worth a visit! I stopped by recently and ordered the Gyro Dinner ($19) and the Chicken Souvlaki Dinner ($19.95), and honestly, I left disappointed with the meals. The gyro meat was so thinly sliced it was burnt, resembling the pre-packaged kind you’d find at a grocery store rather than fresh, quality gyro meat. The chicken souvlaki was nothing more than grilled chicken nuggets served with an abundance of fries, which felt like a letdown for the price point. On a positive note, both dinners included a fresh, tasty salad, which was surprisingly the highlight of the meal. Still, when you’re paying nearly $20 per plate, the main entrée should shine—not just the salad. Where Maggio’s really redeems itself is their bar! The happy hour is fantastic, the drinks are well-made, and the bartender was incredible—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere at the bar alone made my visit worthwhile. It’s a great spot to grab a drink at a good price, unwind with good conversation, or even sit solo and just enjoy your thoughts and watch the TV(s). One major drawback was the customer service from the owner/manager. I stood at the counter for over 10 minutes waiting to place my order, watching both him and another staff member stand around eating. They clearly saw me waiting but said nothing—no greeting, no acknowledgment. If it hadn’t been for the bartender stepping in to take my order, I probably...no, i definitely would’ve walked out. Final Thoughts: Go for the vibe: Drinks, fries, happy hour, and the amazing bartender. Skip: The overpriced and cheaply made entrees, unless you’re really craving a decent salad. Customer service: Hit or miss—the bartender is excellent, but management needs serious improvement. ⭐ Rating: 2.5/5 for food, 4.5/5 for the bar experience. Recommendation: Swing by for happy hour, but sadly, eat somewhere else first, unless you're ordering bar food. Update: Yup! The food is disgusting! This is the most un-pizza I've ever had! Popeye wouldn't eat this spinach! The basil is MIA, and these sausages are disguised as nibbles! I really tried to like this place! But NEVER AGAIN! This place is not food-friendly! 🤮
