- LPLeilani PerezMar 5, 20242.0Love Madewell and always have. However, I had a poor customer service experience a few weeks ago that I tried to shake off but it really bothered me. There was a younger gal with long brown hair working the counter and helped me with a return. She was pretty unfriendly to start with, and then followed me around the store and just stared at me which made me pretty uncomfortable. (I think she was making sure I didn’t steal.) then when I checked out she claimed I had earrings in my hand and she would need to ring those up too. I didn’t have earrings in my hand and showed her. The overall experience was so gross and uncomfortable. I get that you have to keep out for shoplifters but the way she was following me and accusing me of stealing was way overboard and left a sour taste in my mouth.
