  I had come in to make a return and a weird thing happened where the return went on a nonexistent card. I called back to let them know of this and Madison could not have been more nice or helpful! She went above and beyond to fix the issue and apologize even though it was something she had no control over. Love my home store!

  HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE‼️‼️‼️ I’m a new customer to the Madewell brand and I’ve only ordered online. I saw some viral jeans I wanted to try on in person and decided to take the 1/2 hour drive to the Towson Town Center location on the evening of Friday September 19th to do so. I came into the store and both ladies on shift said not one word of a greeting to me. I browsed around the front area and then saw the jeans I wanted to try on in the back. Still not one attendant came to even ask if I needed any help. As I was trying to find my size my hubby walked in and asked me how things were going as he knew how excited I was to visit a Madewell storefront. At this point one of the attendants walked right by us as I was asking him if he liked the pair I picked out which he replied yes but I should go try them on. I said to him no one so much as blinked my direction nor greeted me since I’ve been in the store. He informed me that no one greeted him as well. We both quickly realized they were intentionally ignoring us and did not want to be bothered with us in their store. I later emailed customer service to inform them of my horrible experience and concerns regarding possible racism being expressed at the Towson location. Rusty was very apologetic and explained that’s absolutely unacceptable and he’d pass my email along to the correct department. I sure hope this store receives some sort of retraining in regard to how they interact with customers of any race or gender! I researched other reviews about this location and I noticed this is a pattern and it didn’t start happening of recent! Many other customers expressed that staff there made them feel extremely uncomfortable or were super rude so they definitely wouldn’t return. I personally WOULD NOT shop here ever again! And I plan to inform the store manager of the incident.

  Store is great and so is staff but they need to water those plants. I will update review to 5 if I see evidence they've watered then. Also there is no mens section which would be nice, they have it elsewhere.

  The clothes are really nice, and the staff is friendly. The sales associate, I didn't get her name, helped me with the skinny jeans. I was so happy to see they had tall sizes. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. This will be my new favorite store from now on!
