    They have only been carrying this belt for the past 6 months. I bought it sometime over the summer and as you can see the two sides came unglued. No big deal. I asked to exchange it for the exact same belt. The salesperson couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. She was apologetic for the flaw and found me the exact same belt, however when I went to the cash register the manager said I needed to show “proof of purchase” meaning a receipt or credit card transaction. Why would I have kept a receipt? I had no intention of returning the belt and had worn it. When the purchase didn’t appear on my credit card the manager said there was nothing she could do. She literally couldn’t provide me with a new/non defected belt and said this was story policy. I’m so disappointed! I used to love Maxwell and would shop there regularly, but if a store or manager at the store can’t problem solve or work to figure out a solution to an issue that is agreeably their responsibility, I’m out. Values and customer service are of top notch importance and I’d rather support stores that have similar views.

    Came in Sunday to find a few pairs of shorts to purchase. The employee in the men’s department was very involved in helping the 2 women trying on clothes in the men’s fitting rooms and didn’t acknowledge me or the other 3 men shopping. I waited 10 minutes to try on the shorts and after seeing the employee running sizes back and forth for the women taking both men’s fitting rooms I decided to go see if any of the women’s fitting rooms were opened because it was clear that the sales person was trying to shark as much cash as possible out of the two women. The women’s fitting rooms were all full. I came back to the men’s dept and sought out the sales associate to inquire about the fitting rooms and was told “yeah it’s gonna be a while”. I put down my items and left. Came back an hour later after looping the mall with no luck to try to get into a fitting room to try on the shorts. (Desperstion). Yet again women in the men’s fitting room and no acknowledgement from employees. Tip: start a queue for the women’s fitting rooms in the women’s dept instead of taking over the men’s fitting rooms leaving your male shoppers with no where to try on clothing. Why expand your store size and add a men’s department if you aren’t willing to provide the same level of service to men? Employee demeanor was that of “why are you here?”. For the price point your present I’d expect a better level of service - or at least a way to try on clothes. I’ll stick to online and utilize this location for returns.

    They are so rude at this location. Won’t greet or assist you. Went up to the register to buy a couple of things and the woman acted so put upon and snappy. It made things very uncomfortable and it was unprovoked and unnecessary.
