  I had a similar experience as some below. I went in on a week night. The shorter girl working there was too busy chatting with someone to bother, no one greeted me. I found things on my own and went into a fitting room by myself and at this point there were two employees there and I was the only customer. I went to check out and had an issue with my credit card. The manager girl I assume came over to cancel the transaction and was extremely rude. I apologized on my way out of the store for the inconvenience even though I still purchased items and she gave me the dirtiest look and said absolutely nothing. I have worked in retail before and even on a bad day I would never treat someone like that. I don't care how hard it can be to find help, don't have people like her representing your store. It has completely turned me off to Madewell as a brand.

  Came in looking to buy a pair of jeans without knowing the exact style/size after wearing my sister’s. Olivia was super helpful in finding the exact same style based on my description of the fit and helped with sizing since that style is known to stretch. 5 stars for the customer service! One thing I noticed in the store was that the fitting room smelled a bit like mold and mildew. I figured the carpet probably needed replacing from people going in with wet shoes. However, when I got home I realized that both pairs of jeans I purchased smelled VERY strongly so I think the store might have a mold issue. I’m going to wash and keep the pairs I bought but probably would be cautious to shop at this location again.

  Only order online. Absolutely great jeans but they’re constantly removing products! Twice I found some of the only jeans that fit me and work with my needs BOTH were discontinued

  Well I guess I just tell you everything. We walked in today to get some t-shirts for my mom as she has a trip coming up. Three females employees. One young Asian lady one blonde lady and one more darker hair older. She was at the entrance when we walked in. And adult woman she made the face like she was so annoyed we were there. We walked around for a while. I told my mother what I saw so we stay a little longer no one greeted us no big deal but another female walked in and she was greeted. Because she was white. So after a while in the store we liked a couple of things but no one approached us to help us. Just the blonde said hello to us when we were all the way back there. We were going to buy, we did some shopping at anthropology. But after seen what a difference makes to the older woman to be light skin or brown we left I pointed at her while leaving because my mother wanted to know who it was. Then she offered help. No thanks I will spend my money somewhere else. I can only assume for her age and attitude she was the manager. Just petty she will behave like that in this neighborhood.
