While shopping at BJ’s on September 11, 2025, I met a sales associate representing Mad City Windows & Bath. I explained that I was interested in having my shower redone. He took all my information, scheduled me an appointment for September 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m and even put me on the phone with another representative who repeated the same questions I had just answered before confirming my appointment.
Later that day, I received an email officially confirming the appointment and providing the details. Then the calls started. On Saturday, I received my first automated reminder call. On Sunday, I got at least two more automated calls, which felt excessive and became a nuisance. On Monday, September 15, I received a live call from Mad City. The caller didn’t identify herself, but told me she was confirming my appointment. I explained that I had already confirmed several times through automated calls and email. Her response was unnecessarily snarky: “Well yeah, we have to call the day before to confirm. You shouldn’t receive any more calls after this.” She then proceeded to ask me the same questions I had already answered multiple times. At that point, I ended the call. After this, I received two more automated calls.
The worst part: Tuesday came, the day of my scheduled and confirmed appointment, and no one from Mad City Windows & Bath showed up. No phone call, no update, nothing. I never canceled the appointment, so being completely stood up was unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. Additionally, I received a call from Mad City on Tuesday at 2:30 p.m., well after my scheduled appointment which I answered and the person hung up on me.
After reading other reviews, it seems I may have dodged a bullet. But based on my experience, I cannot recommend Mad City Windows & Bath.
