Frequently Asked Questions About Mac's Storage Containers
What areas do you serve?
Our service area encompasses the entire Lower Peninsula of Michigan, typically within a 100-mile radius of our storage yard.
What are the containers most often used for?
Our containers are commonly utilized for construction, restoration, remodeling, moving, temporary storage, tractor trailer storage, and as connex boxes (with high cube options available).
What container sizes do you offer?
We offer 20' used, 20' new, 40' used, 40' HC used, and 40' HC new containers. Please note that delivery fees start at $200 and are charged separately.
What's the difference between standard and high-cube containers?
High-cube containers are 9.5 feet tall, which is 1.5 feet taller than standard containers that measure 8 feet in height.
Can I negotiate the price?
Prices for used containers may be negotiable depending on their condition. We invite you to visit our facility and personally select your container.
How are containers delivered?
We utilize tilt-deck trailers for delivery. The container is lowered into place as the truck drives out from underneath it.
Can 40' containers be delivered to residential areas?
Generally, 40' containers are not suitable for residential delivery due to space constraints. They require a 53' truck and 100' of clearance for proper placement.
What should I place underneath my container?
For concrete surfaces, the container can be placed directly. On asphalt, we recommend using plywood sheets. For soil or grass, use 6 in. x 6 in. x 8 ft. wood, blocks, or railroad ties as a foundation.
Is there a time limit on container rentals?
We do not impose time restrictions on container rentals. You may rent for as long as necessary to meet your needs.
Are your containers guaranteed?
All containers are sold in as-is condition without a guarantee. Customers are required to sign a buyer agreement to release us from liability.
