Poorly managed, rude and ignorant staff, so beyond tired of dealing with this company. Somehow still disputing and dealing with a move in charge from almost a year ago. The accountant who sent a refund to the wrong address, after sending and confirming my address multiple times. Upon contacting her via email, she proceeded to tell me with a high degree of hostility that she was in fact doing her job After sending it to the wrong address. I tried to verify this address for a week with a girl who responded and assured that address was updated when in fact it was not. Not to mention from the very beginning I was told I would not be charged this fee as I specifically reached out to confirm this, and to my surprise saw the fee pending the next morning. This started in June last year and I am still dealing with this currently somehow. I wouldn’t waste my time personally, very unprofessional in my opinion. This company has other properties as well, one of them being the chronicle apartments. I lived there about 5-6 years ago and actually had to file a complaint because the maintenance man entered my unit several times without permission that my security system caught. Very lucky I didn’t file a legal complaint at the time, I tried to give them a break but I see this was the wrong decision as all of their properties are managed poorly.

During our move out inspection the landlord stated that it was in very good condition and that we would get most of our $750 deposit back. We signed a form that he wrote up saying “good condition, standard cleaning only”. Today we received a check for $89 that included an invoice from their cleaning crew for $540 deducted from the deposit. Not sure why we were told we’d get most of our money back, a bit of a let down after being given higher expectations from the landlord himself. We enjoyed living here despite the broken drain above our bedroom that flooded our apartment twice in three years. Oh well I guess, this is what we have come to expect from landlords in this time period 🥲 overall, it was a pretty good building to live in, just a few disappointments sprinkled in.
