Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits. All lululemon locations have strong ties to our local communities.

Huge shoutout to Kennedy at the Lululemon in Totem Lake! She was an absolute boss helping my wife (Keri), my stepson (Jordan), and me in the fitting room. Kennedy was super friendly, patient, and really knew her stuff—she walked us through all the different pant styles to find the right fits, made it fun (which isn’t always easy for guys in fitting rooms!), and even called other stores to check on sizes we couldn’t find. She made the whole experience awesome. Give that woman a raise—she’s the real deal!

Probably one of the lululemon locations with the worst customer service. I visited today 10/01 to make a return, and the employee who assisted me (dark hair girl) was unpleasant and unwelcoming. She also gave me incorrect information about their return policy and reimbursements, which I later confirmed by calling customer service directly as I never dealt with this before. She attempted to refund me for a full price item in a gift card stating that was the only way, after I gave push back she then acted like she was doing me a favor by refunding it to the original payment method and stating she was giving me “heads up” For next time as the “policy” was to refund to gift card. Hopefully, further training is provided on this to help improve the experience and protect lululemon’s reputation from being associated with poor customer service.

I had the worst experience here after being a loyal customer for years. Trying to return a pair of shoes that were giving me so much pain, one of the staff was extremely unhelpful and repeatedly said no to the return I already initiated online. First, it was because the shoes were worn, after stating the reason, she said she could only return for quality guarantee, then she couldn’t find the email in the system, questioning if I had an account, finally found out the 30 day window had just passed. She had to get help from the manager because she was unable to give a workable option. When the manager came, he’s courteous but didn’t offer any real option except for exchanging for the same item (which would cause me more pain!). He also shared how strict the policy had become over the years. I’m really disappointed at not just the staff at this location, but with the larger lululemon brand and how the company is being run these days. It has become more bureaucratic and lost its roots. I’ve lost confidence in the brand as a customer. Seeing other people have similar experience makes me worry about the company’s future as a shareholder. Coincidentally, lately I’ve been heavily targeted by ads from Vuori, this is a good timing to try it out.

I recently visited the Lululemon store at Totem Lake to return a pair of athletic pants that didn’t fit well. While the item was clearly unused and I had the receipt, the return was refused because the tag wasn’t intact. I understand store policies, but the interaction felt rigid and lacked the customer-first approach I’ve usually experienced at Lululemon. A bit more empathy or flexibility—especially for loyal customers—would go a long way. I left feeling disappointed.
