Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.
All lululemon locations have strong ties to our local communities.

It was 4 managers in the store, all footy standing at the cashier’s table. I didn’t get even a slight smile. No one was near the fitting rooms so when I needed another size I had to go out by myself. When I finally crossed eyes with one of them and asked to help me finding “groove super high rise pants”, you know what she said? She said “do you know where these pants are? Did you check all the pants there if they are high rise or super high rise? If you checked, then that’s all we got”. And when I asked about what other colors of bike shorts do they have, she said “check the rack with these shorts”. And that’s all. I was never treated like that.
