Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits. I just want to express my disappointment in your manager at the Columbus Circle NYC location 10648. I went in to exchange a shirt. I had purchased two days ago while on vacation. I wanted to exchange it for a smaller size. I’ve been a customer of Lululemon for several years and have been a loyal customer until today. I went into the store and spoke to the first person I saw. I asked her if I can swap the shirt for a smaller size. She treated me extremely sarcastic and told me no we can’t do anything without your tag. There was no other option. I asked to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager. I asked for her and she told me that she does not have to give me her name. They smiled at me telling me there’s nothing we can do to help you and kept looking at the door as an indication that I should leave. I don’t think I’ve ever been disrespected 50 years of existence at a retail store. I would really suggest that you guys take some time and teach your managers how to provide customer service. I understand that they may read policies and procedures in place and it’s not about not being able to exchange the shirt. It’s more about the way, I was treated. For that reason I will never step foot in another Lululemon store in my life if this is the way that you’re going to treat your customers I don’t see you guys being an existence for very long. I am so sorry I had to experience that because I truly love your brand.
