  I really want to be fair. I understand people generally write reviews when they are very happy or very unhappy. I gave 3 stars because I have been happy with Lululemon’s products and industry leading customer service for a long time. I ordered a yoga mat reduced by 50% online for pick up in store. I called the store talked to an employee and said I would pick up in a couple days. He told me the mat was there and that would be fine. When I got there it was gone and they canceled my order. The person on the register was like a deer in headlights repeating the same 3 sentences without acknowledging what I was saying. The manager was snarky, condescendingly explaining that they had the same mat but in a different color so could not honor the price. When she finally agreed to do the right thing she added, “we don’t usually do this, but I will this time.” If you’re going to do it why make a customer feel bad about it? She might be too young to remember when Lululemon did provide customer service that matched industry leaders like Nordstrom. I purchased my first Lululemon pants in 2004. For years the customer service was as good as the product. This whole debacle took 45 minutes. If I shop Lululemon again I will be going to another location.
