Founded in Vancouver BC in 1998, the first lululemon shared its retail space with a yoga studio. We've been growing ever since, and our technical yoga and run clothes are now available in countries all over the world. We want to elevate the world from mediocrity to greatness. Our Mission Statement is to create components for people to live longer, healthier, fun lives. We make technical athletic apparel for yoga, dancing, and most other sweaty pursuits.
All lululemon locations have strong ties to our local communities.
I went to this stores La Jolla location on a sunny Saturday wearing a cherry polkadot white sundress, pink glasses, and heart dotted socks -and was treated like a terrorist. In a time of need, when my phone was not working, I asked an employee if it would be possible to borrow the stores phone to call for help. However the employee looked at me like I was a terrorist, refused to help, and did not act as one should. What has this world come to? To be treated in such a heartless and cruel way, truly made me question how unethical people -and now brands- have become in today’s day and age. I’m highly disappointed with lululemon and their hired staff. I don’t think anyone should be treated this way and was very disturbed by the disrespect when someone is in need. Don’t bother shopping here anymore, they really only care about one thing -and that’s not you.
