Never stepping foot in the store again, or the mall for that matter. Last night, 10/24, I was there around 7pm buying something for my mom's birthday. A younger girl was helping me pick something out when a group of 5-6 kids, approximately 15 years old came in and were causing a minor commotion. I walked over just to see what it was before the employee stopped me and said every kid was stealing. They came in, grabbed a bunch of stuff, and left. The employee indicated their policy is to take a description, not try to stop anything. Failure on two fronts: 1. Crime is tolerated at Towson Mall. Zero recourse. 2. A store allows people to steal while charging law abiding citizens $78 for a long sleeve t shirt. I actually like Lulu stuff too, great shorts and golf clothes, but never going back. It's insane.

I left this store feeling deeply disappointed and disrespected. The African American man with glasses who works here has shown me on more than one occasion that he lacks professionalism and basic courtesy. This isn’t the first time he has completely ignored me. I was standing in the dressing room clearly looking for assistance, yet he walked past me several times without acknowledgment. The moment a white woman asked for help, he jumped through hoops for her—going as far as to search the floor to find exactly what she needed. Meanwhile, I had to speak up just to get the bare minimum of service. The first time I encountered issues with him was when I was recording myself for my vlog and store review. Instead of simply checking me out at the register like a professional, he made the whole interaction about not wanting to be recorded—as if he wasn’t already being monitored by the multiple cameras in the store. I truly don’t know what his issue is, but his behavior is unacceptable. As a paying customer and a Black woman, I deserve the same respect and level of service as anyone else walking through those doors. As a content creator, I know how powerful social media can be, but instead of blasting this experience to my audience, I chose to leave this review. Hopefully management takes note, because this type of treatment should never be normalized.

Had a wonderful experience. Not sure if the store has gotten new employees but everyone was 100% nicer than my last visit where no one even greeted me. Faith was my favorite. She was nice and helpful and treated everyone like gold. I will be back for in-store shopping.
