Good food, horrific service.
I was visiting my parents in FL and came here with a party of five, excited for a nice meal. Very busy Sun night but didn't wait long for a table, was sat right away in the patio. The food? Actually good. But that’s where the kindness ends.
The service was beyond terrible — it was an insult. Out of everyone in my group, I was the one the waiter targeted. I’m guessing it was because I’m LGBT — I was the only one in the group. If you work in service, you WILL encounter people like me. Basic respect is not optional..
My requests were ignored, forgotten, and I was treated like I didn’t exist. The waiter wouldn’t let me finish my sentences and cut me off the moment I tried to give my drink or food order. When I received the wrong drink and politely pointed it out, he responded with eye rolls, huffs, and walked away with a terrible attitude. He acted like serving me was a huge burden. I didn’t send my drink back — I actually feared he might tamper with it (spit in it or something else- he seemed the type). That’s the kind of nasty vibe he gave off.
This was not just bad service; it was outright disrespect, bordering on disdain.
Good food can’t save a restaurant that treats customers like an afterthought. If you expect to be acknowledged, cared for, or even simply treated like a human being, look elsewhere. This place fails spectacularly.
I left feeling angry and disrespected. Never again.
P.S. I regret not going straight to the manager that night. These issues need to be addressed immediately so they don’t get brushed aside. A Google review can be dismissed, but when a manager has to confront behavioral problems on a busy night, that’s when real change can happen. If you come across a rude server, address it immediately by bothering the manager about it.
We used to go once a month to the Louis Bossi on Las Olas, they have a beautiful terrace, great promos and it is mom’s favourite! Unfortunately, the last 2 times have been incredibly disappointing.
From the bad attitude of the male hostess with blue eyes to the inexistant service and cold pizza. That’s far from what it used to be. Our waiter Julian or should we call him Casper, came to see us only once and disappeared, his coworker saw me looking at our COLD oven pizzas that stayed on the counter for 17 minutes and finally decided to bring it to us. When we requested the check his coworker said he was sorry and someone else brought it to us. Our waiter came to grab the last plate on the table and seemed annoyed by the same service we did not receive. I am pretty sure he could feel how disappointed we were but couldn’t care less.
There are so many people with their hands behind their back and no system to take care of their customers, tables full of empty plates. The restaurant wasn’t full. It was a mid week afternoon. My dad got hit on the front head by the suiter serving the coffee at the table next to us and our poor neighbour got HOT coffee all over him. Nobody checked after any of the tables.
I think the hiring management should focus less on looks and priorities experience and positive attitude! Without putting everyone in the same basket, some are very good and have been there for a while but the establishment culture is in danger.
To TOP that (literally), dirt and dust is falling out of the ventilation system. I like mushrooms on my pizza, not falling down the ceiling. Really concerning for the food safety and Sanitation.

This was, unfortunately, the worse dining out experience I have ever had. Which is disappointing because I had heard good things about this restaurant. We were a group of 11 people and we had a reservation for 8:30. We were in fact sat at 8:30 which was good. The waiter brought us drinks and bread, but we sat there for over an hour before our order was even taken. The waiter was much more preoccupied with the table of ladies (40s?) next to us who were ordering multiple rounds of drinks. We were a little irritated that it was already 9:30 before we ordered because one of our party members still had to drive to Orlando that night for an event in the morning, but this was a special night for us that she wanted to be there for. We did in fact tell the waiter about this after waiting for an hour. Another hour went by and we still didn’t have our food so myself and another woman in our party approached the manager (we physically got up and approached him at the wait stand). We were very polite, but he seemed unconcerned and said he’d go check on the food. It came out at 10:30, and the manager did not come check on us again, which was frustrating. Everything was cold and we just wanted to go home so we asked for boxes immediately. At this point, I was already having a terrible experience which was then made worse when the heavily intoxicated woman at the table next to us completely flashed her chest to the restaurant, which was the last straw for me, as she was not asked to leave and was severed MORE drinks after this endeavor. I asked for the manager again and he again acted like I was inconveniencing him and being ridiculous, especially because he acted like he couldn’t do anything about the intoxicated woman. He did not seem apologetic at all. He came back and told me he took our drink off the tab, which seemed like a cheap gesture as only 4 of the 11 of us had drinks, and they were all nonalcoholic. After he told me this, I was still being respectful, but I asked if this was all he was going to do, and he physically walked away while I was still speaking and the waiter had to grab him and turn him back around. I was starting to get frustrated at the disrespect. He exasperatedly said he’d see if there was anything else he could do. He ended up taking off our two cheapest entrees so our party still paid a $250 bill for a two hour wait, cold food, and witnessing a crude act as a table of 19 year old young ladies. We paid and left, and we passed the manager as we were leaving and he still didn’t apologize or act anyway other than that we were an inconvenience. I would never consider dining here again.
Louie Bossi's is one of my favorite restaurants; Every time I am in charge of picking a restaurant, I always pick Louie Bossi's and it never disappoints.
However, our experience last night was awful. Our waiter rarely came to our table. When he did it, it was to talk, then he would leave. We tried to order twice. After waiting for an hour, we finally got to order, but the food took a really long time to come out. We were a big party and knew our order would take a long time. However, the table next to us who also a big party and ordered after us, received their food and about four rounds of drinks from the same waiter we had all in the time we were waiting for our food. The table next to us was also acting inappropriately, and when we brought it up to our waiter because we were feeling uncomfortable, he said, "Oh, I didn't see it". When our food did come out, half the party's food was cold. I ate a little bit, and I packed up the rest. When the issue was brought up to the manager, he was very kind about it; however, our server said he didn't understand why we were upset over food coming out late.
This experience was completely different from the other time I have gone to Louie Bossi's; all the other times I have enjoyed my service, time, and food there.

We are boca neighbors that couldn't wait for the restaurant to reopen on Palmetto so decided to pay this location a visit. Deeply regret.
Food is great as always as this remains one of the best italian restaurants in the area. Drinks (bottomless mimosa special) were extremely subpar, often mixed in the bellini pitchers and leaving a weird peach aftertaste.
Towards the end of brunch, we were finished eating and asked for one last mimosa, before the advertised time of 4pm. Server said she could not find a pitcher, therefore we couldn't get one. I asked if I could buy a fresh round but she said that would put us beyond the time limit of 4pm.
Since that made no sense in our heads why a restaurant would not want to sell full-price drinks, I PAID the brunch chck and asked if we were either drunk or being cut-off. None of the above.
The answer came from a young lady manager 5 minutes later: we are not allowed to stay at a brunch table beyond 4pm, EVEN if you close out the check and ask for dinner service.
I once again confirmed whether we were getting cut-off or something alike. She said we were welcome to change tables (????) but not stay in the same table (???). A higher manager stopped by and had been told we wanted more mimosas. Not the case. We made it very clear we wanted to open a new table and stay for dinner. Still deflective answers and, once again, the invitation to go and stay inside.
Since we were not intoxicated, loud or being cut-off, the only assumption I had is we were being discriminated against.
Why would a restaurant want to lose money and insist on moving customers that want to keep paying inside is beyond me and I am sure it was because of our language. I don't know that they read the room that they are located in the middle of south Florida. Shameful! Back in Boca, we were never asked to leave after brunch but rather catered to by a dinner server. (I understand they have to close their shifts). Never got this level of disservice from the Boca location.
Will not be going back to this location as we felt extremely discriminated against.
