  My husband & I met some family there for lunch today. This was our first time there & will DEFINITELY be back! It’s such a nice, laid back atmosphere & was very clean. All of the employees we encountered today were very pleasant & helpful. And the food…OMG it was delicious!! I had the chicken tortilla soup with ramen noodles & my husband had the crunch wrap. The portions are really plentiful. This restaurant is a must try!!!

  It was our first time visiting Los Jefes on Hickory Avenue and we will definitely return. We went for lunch, the restaurant was very clean, waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly, service was great, food came out quickly, was plentiful and delicious. We ordered the chicken burrito, chicken/steak burrito which were huge. I had to get a to go box for my chicken burrito and my partner ate all of his chicken/steak burrito and was full, we both enjoyed our meal. Large television mounted on the wall with the sports channel playing which is a plus for Saturday & Sundays to watch the game while dining. Parking was convenient and restroom was clean. Ask for a table in Taylor's section, you will be happy with her service!

  Im latina so its really hard for me to like “Mexican food” when i go out for it. I usually avoid going to Latin food places because i grew up on the food so I don’t want to bother. With that being said i have to give props to this establishment. So glad I gave it a chance cause the spice in the food is just right. And the selection was diverse. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Didn’t really feel like I was in Fat City cause the indoor environment was very chill and friendly. I have a great place to return. Loved it here.

  I’m so glad they have this new location because I live around the corner which means I will be around los jefes 24/7 being that the Metairie location is right next-door to my work😂. The pizza and corn are my absolute fav. The staff is always so kind. I like the kiosk deal they have. Ordering was easy so if that’s not your cup of tea, you don’t need to stay. I was not expecting this place to get a 3.5 star review when the other restaurant is so high. I’m sure some of these ratings are fake reviews

  The food is GREAT! Not sure what the other reviews are talking about. The staff is extremely friendly. There are no servers so you order at the kiosks (not that big of a deal) or if you’d like to sit at the bar you can order there as well. Food is flavorful, comes out fast and comes in big portions. Definitely worth the price.
