  Matt and Frank are great! I had a wonderful experience selling $14K of gold jewelry to them and will continue to sell gold jewelry to them going forward. I've never sold gold before, yet it's my task to sell my mother's gold jewelry while gold prices are high. I felt intimidated going to the Jewelry District. I started with Matt and Frank's because of their high ratings online. First, the 550 S. Hill building feels safe and secure. We realized that the jeweler who made our wedding rings almost 20 years ago was also located on the 5th floor! Matt and Frank are so friendly and do NOT apply any pressure, which was very important to me. Frank explained how he was assessing the jewelry and gave me an initial estimate. For due diligence, we next went to another gold buyer who had received high ratings online. This storefront store was exactly what I'd been worried about. The two guys there didn't even greet us. When I asked for a bid on the jewelry, the main guy hardly looked at the jewelry and said give me a number. I said I came here to get your assessment/bid on the jewelry, not just throw out a number. He just kept telling me rather intensely that it's just about numbers, give me a number. I said that I didn't want to do it that way and took the jewelry and left. We stopped by our wedding ring jeweler who turns out also buys gold. He said that Matt and Frank's bid was very good so it didn't make business sense for him to buy gold for what he can already get it for. We went back to Matt and Frank and they did the full testing of the 18 karat gold items, explaining each test. I had already decided that they were fair and trustworthy, yet it was nice that they wanted to explain everything. A few minutes later I walked out with a $14K check which I immediately deposited at the BofA ATM on the first floor! My parents are very happy! I strongly recommend doing business with Matt and Frank!

  *More Than a Jewelry Sale -- A Moment of Genuine Care!* I came into Los Angeles Diamond & Gold Buyer and Sellers hoping to sell my engagement ring, but life had other plans. Before leaving home, I brought along a piece of my late father's jewelry just to have it checked -- never intending to sell it. When I learned the engagement ring wasn't worth as much as I thought, I ended up selling my father's piece instead. That moment hit me harder than expected, and Frank showed such genuine kindness and compassion. Mathew even brought me water when they noticed I became emotional, and their warmth truly comforted me at that moment. Frank offered a very fair price, but what stood out most was his empathy and honesty. It's rare to find a place that treats you like more than a transaction. I left feeling grateful and cared for. I Highly recommend this company for both their integrity and their heart. I'll certainly be doing more business with them in the near future, and referring everyone to them
