  Having broken the inside handle from my Anderson door, my first thought was to call a locksmith. A local locksmith was called. When I explained what had happened and the type of door, he suggested that I call Loranger Door & Window. A call was placed for assistance. I was quoted a service call price and advised that if I hadn't gotten a call by Monday the next week to call back. I, over the next three weeks left messages on an answering machine that I was waiting for a call back (Maintenance person not available to take call). Tonight I decided to repair the door myself. I had found a "through the door" shaft I had ordered years ago directly from Anderson in a drawer. I pulled the exterior door handle out of the door. Moved that handle to the new shaft; inserted shaft with attached handle through the door and attached the inside handle onto new shaft. Thanks but no thanks Loranger. I saved myself a service call+.

  Horrible experience. Overpriced doors and the service was abysmal. These guys let our door sit for weeks before we found out it was in and ready for installation. The sales guy was downright rude to us and ignored all our calls once he had received payment. The door is nice. Too bad it’s overpriced and took THREE MONTHS and many calls and stress to get them to finally install it. Wish I could give them negative stars. Avoid them at all costs, or like us, you’ll deeply regret doing business with these guys.

  Prices are higher than big box stores; they say their quality for the same product is better, but I don't see it. Door closers would not work right and they were horrible to deal with - no customer service after the sale. Had to contact the manufacturer directly for any satisfaction.
